Great Place in Beautiful Grand Isle

The owner maintains a beautiful camp on a peaceful area of the Island. The camp was clean. It had cold air and hot water. It came with everything we needed and the owner ensured a great stay!

Amazing Beach House!

This property was perfect for our family. The beach access was amazing and you could catch crab and fish from shore! The house was beautiful and very clean. The manager was easy to get a hold of and answered questions quickly.

Paradise on Grande Isle

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Beautiful house with perfect ocean view and access. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Beach was almost vacant and blue crabs were easy to catch. We will return asap!!!

Outstanding

We had a wonderful time here. The home is new, clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything needed. There are huge windows in the living room and kitchen area with views of the beach. Very quiet and peaceful. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location!

Fantastic home on a great stretch of beach. Lots of space in the house and everything you need. Wonderful views of beach, sunrises and sunsets. Had to leave early due to Hurricane Delta but property owners communication was exceptional!

Enjoyed the home and location a great deal. It's a beautiful home with a great location. Wish the television was working. And the swampy area we had to cross to get to the beach deterred us a bit. Overall, we loved it!

Enjoy the best of Grand Isle

This is a beautifully appointed home. Furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need for cooking. The beds are especially comfy. There is a stunning deck overlooking the water and ample room under the home for all of your fishing gear. We really appreciated the fish cleaning setup. Every morning at dawn, we were able to walk right out to the beach and start fishing. I hope to return many times and will be very disappointed if this home is not available. Anything else would be a step down.

Fantastic Grand Isle getaway!

We had the pleasure of spending a week here with extended family and had the most wonderful time! We all enjoyed the clean sandy beach to take long walks on, swim in, ( it's fairly shallow for a good distance out so the children could go out in the waves and play), surf fish, catch crabs, collect shells. and just lounge. The camp is fairly new has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully equipped. with cooking supplies and has two refrigerators and two dishwashers. It's immaculately clean, great lighting, plenty of seating for dining and really comfortable furniture in the tv area. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are sparkling! The view from the deck is amazing. We watched every sunrise and sunset, with the shrimp boats passing and the dolphins jjumping ! We all agreed (all 11 of us) that we can't wait to go back.😄

Relaxing beach house

This location and house made the perfect vacation. There is plenty of space to sleep, play games, and relax. We enjoyed early morning sunrise walks and loved spotting dolphins on those walks. My girls spent hours looking for sand dollars and were excited to take a few home. We spent hours at the beach and the other time lounging around the house. Myra was great and quick to respond to questions and concerns. A perfect way to spend our spring break and feel refreshed and ready to take on the rest of our Chicago winter/spring.

Family Spring Break

The house was super nice and supplied well. The only thing that bothered us the most was not having Cable or anything to watch when the kids needed some down time. Having 7 kids in the house and it constantly raining was a terrible time to have anything.. We ended up having to drive 40 minutes to the closest red box and rent Blu-Ray disc that cost more because it would not play DVD's. We did contact her a couple of times about it and they just kept informing us it was working and to reset it. After 3 times we just got fed up. One thing I did wish they had was a welcoming book/ town information like other rentals we have stayed at.

Simply relaxing

Got there on Friday, took our watches off and set the phones down. The house had everything we needed plus more. The amazing view of the beach/gulf along with the very short walk to the beach made it so nice. This place takes all the stresses of life/work and melts them away. No one wanted to leave on Monday. We will definitely be back.

Location, location, location. The beach house has it all.

This was a perfect spot for an extended weekend for our family of four. The house has great views of the beach and is just a short walk over a small grassy area to the beach. The beach goes on for miles in both directions from the house. Even our 4 and 6 year old could handle the trek. We went to the state park nearby and saw dolphins jumping and riding the waves. The pelicans were every where and there were many lovely shore birds on the beach. We even saw some roseste spoonbills in the marsh on our way out of town. The house has everything you could possibly need. From the fully equipped kitchen to the board games to the beach towels. The owners have done a great job creating a comfortable home away from home for an awesome get-away. It isn't showy, it is causal, comfortable and well maintained. We will happily go back whenever we can.

Fabulous beach house on Grand Isle

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this beautiful house right on the beach. Even though it stormed the first half of our stay, the house was solid and cozy, and stocked with everything we needed (except extra toilet paper!). We cooked wonderful meals in the well-stocked kitchen, watched movies, did puzzles and read. Then the sun came out, and we played on the beach and read on the deck. It was just a perfect getaway for my family.

Everything you need

We booked this house for Sep 25 thru Sep 29 2014.The owners were swearthearts to work with.We were able to move in a day early because of a cancelled tuna trip.The house is beautiful and it was very clean.It had a Electric dumbwaiter to move your bags and food from the ground floor up to the living area.Also it has a great deck overlooking the beach and GULF OF MEXICO.It was very nice having the whole house and apartment for six bedrooms.You can't go wrong with this house on the beach.Thanks Myra and Guy,Leon
