Perfect place for our family of 16 to spend the week! The game room and theatre room were such a fun and well loved feature!Highly recommend union river lobster pot and precipice coffee in town!

Enjoyed our stay. Easy access to Acadia which was our aim. Downtown Ellsworth is enjoyable as well.

We enjoyed our stay . There was 9 people . We fit comfortably but did have to juggle shower schedule as only one bathroom downstairs . Owner was very responsive to any questions we had . Easy drive to bar harbor and ACADIA but leave early in the day to avoid traffic delays . Highlights try Momo’s cheesecake and blueberry Hill for ice cream .

House that fit the needs of our family! We had 2 families with all teenaged/young adult kids plus a grandmother. House was set up great for us - adults upstairs and kids in the basement. There were plenty of spaces for people to get away from each other when needed. We were there for very high temps and humidity. Bedrooms have ceiling fans upstairs, and the AC units in the living rooms of both floors worked well for those spaces. Downstairs bedrooms stayed cool; the ensuite bedroom was a bit warm for us - it's located "behind" the wall with the AC unit, so didn't get as much cooling aide. Ensuite bed was firm for our tastes, but that's just us. Kitchen had what we needed for cooking and grilling some good meals. The entertainment (all in the basement) made for some fun times, and the movie theater was great for watching the World Cup. Host was great - very responsive and kind. We spent 2 days in the park and went sea kayaking in Castine Bay one night for the bioluminescent tour - I highly recommend! Even our 79 y/o was comfortable and well taken care of. Acadia National Park is 35-40 minute drive, depending on where you're going in the park. Ellsworth has a cute little downtown with plenty of different restaurants if you don't feel like cooking.

Great place! There were 10 in our party and we were very comfortable with this space! Kids LOVED the arcade, foosball, and pool table. The theater room was wonderful to watch the FIFA games in the evenings. It was very convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Great stay!
