The home features both a fully equipped kitchen and a kitchenette, giving you the convenience of
preparing meals across two spaces. The main kitchen includes full-size appliances, cookware, and
everything you need for homemade meals. The kitchenette is perfect for quick snacks - great for added flexibility during your stay. *** Important*** : Understanding Douglas Lake’s Seasonal Levels: Douglas Lake is a TVA-controlled reservoir with predictable seasonal changes.

High Water (“full pool”): Typically May–September. Dock is usually usable for boating, swimming, and lake activities.

Drawdown Season: Typically October–April. TVA lowers the lake level for flood control, and water may recede from the dock area. Guests should expect that the dock will not be in the water during these months.

These changes are normal and occur every year across the entire lake. If water access is important for your stay, please check TVA’s public lake level reports or send us a message—we’re happy to check for you!
