Welcome to the Inn on Holgate, beautifully restored multi-unit historic home just steps from downtown Defiance. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend, family stay, business trip or a whole house rental for a special occasion, The Inn on Holgate offers the perfect blend of comfort, charm and convenience,
Our main floor two-bedroom suite has been completely remodeled to feel like a cozy Hallmark movie setting; Guest has the combination of historic character and modern comfort.
Features include Electric fireplace with a warm, inviting glow. Brand New Kitchen with Refrigerator, Range, Microwave, Coffee maker, Pots and Pans and cooking utensils.
Newly updated bathroom, Bedroom #1, Queen Bed, TV, Alexa, large closet, lamps. Bedroom #2, Full Bed, Sound machine, lamp with USB port, large closet and luggage rack.
Full washer and dryer access and work out area in basement for light exercising and stretching.
Beautiful Front porch with wicker furniture overlooking Holgate Avenue- the perfect morning coffee spot.

SOON, MID 2026 a third available for 2 more people in which the entire home can be reserved for ONE family, Wedding Party, etc. up to 10 PEOPLE.
Each unit EITHER booking SUITE 1 VRBO ID 4977460 SLEEPS up to 4 or SUITE II, VRBO ID 5116939 ALSO SLEEPS up to 4 = THEY are private, secure, and fully separated unless booked together, each unit has all the amenities of a kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for weddings, reunions, visiting families, or extended stays.

❤️ My Passion for Holgate Avenue
Holgate Avenue isn’t just where The Inn is located — it’s where my life happened.
I grew up on Holgate Avenue at 622 Holgate, living there my entire childhood until I was 19 years old. This street shaped who I am. It’s where I learned the meaning of home, neighborhood, and community.
Later in life, I made my home at 634 Holgate Avenue, where I lived for 22 years and raised my daughter, Kennedy. That house holds countless memories — front-porch moments, everyday routines, celebrations, and the kind of memories you don’t realize are special until years later.
When the opportunity came to restore and open this home, it felt incredibly personal. Bringing life back into a house on the very street that raised me wasn’t just a renovation — it was a way of honoring my past while creating something meaningful for others. Every detail of The Inn on Holgate Avenue was done with care, respect for the history, and a deep love for this neighborhood.
Hosting here means sharing a piece of my story. My hope is that every guest feels the same warmth, comfort, and sense of belonging that Holgate Avenue has always given me.
