Beautiful quiet property with garden and water views. Wonderful porch. Clean, well-appointed with many helpful small touches, and spacious, this was an ideal spot for our family of 6 adults and 2 young children to stay. Many many thanks.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spacious, bright, impeccably clean, and incredibly welcoming. It immediately felt like a place where we could relax and enjoy our vacation.The location was perfect, offering beautiful views and a peaceful setting while still being convenient to everything we wanted to explore. It made a great home base for our trip to Maine. The Blue Hill Farmers market on Saturday morning was great! I highly recommend the vendor selling the homemade bread!We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

If you want to stay in a beautifully furnished home with an amazing view, this is it! Gorgeous gardens and a short walk to the beach -be advised, there are stairs down to the beach! Deer came to visit and there were fireflies! I haven’t seen fireflies since I was a childPenobscot is about 20 minutes from grocery stores, lobster rolls and beautiful scenery. My husband and I were celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Holly and her family were very helpful with restaurant recommendations, local advice and with “manpower” to get kayaks to the beach! We would love nothing more than a return visit!

We could not have asked for a better place or better hosts. We had two small children with us. The layout of the home and the grounds was a dream for supervision- very kid and adult friendly. The house was so cozy and elegant, well designed and thoughtfully furnished and appointed. The setting was magical with a lush carpet of thick grass to walk barefoot in, sloping gently down to a set of stairs leading to a quiet sandy beach. The gardens were brimming with fragrant blooms. The sunsets were spectacular over the water. We never wanted to leave. The kids referred to it as our new house. I highly recommend a stay here.

This was a wonderful rental experience for our family. The house was spacious, clean, and access to the waterfront made for easy walks along the water. It was a peaceful setting in the country that was within driving distance to Acadia and whale watching. My kids have already asked if we can come back!

Hidden gem!! The house in on a beautiful lot with a nice path to the river. If you want a true relaxing Maine experience you need to stay here!! Its perfectly located to all the coastal towns and close to Bangor amd Bar Harbor. Holly was extremely responsive. She even brought a soccer bowl for the kids to play with. I
