This dog-friendly waterfront home offers stunning views of Wallowa Lake and the east moraine from nearly every room. Enjoy a private dock, spacious deck, cozy fireplace, and a flat grassy yard perfect for family fun. With multiple bedrooms, balconies, and generous living and dining spaces, this vintage lakefront retreat provides comfort, relaxation, and unforgettable lake days for the whole family.
Guest Interaction & Communication
We’ll stay in touch with you via email or messaging, depending on where you booked. About 8 hours before your arrival, you’ll receive a message with everything you need for a smooth check-in, including:
Your smart lock access code and simple instructions on how to use it
The property address
A link to your online welcome manual for the home
For peace of mind, an emergency contact number is listed in the Guest Handbook, and on the day of your arrival we’ll also share the direct phone number for our Market Operations Manager should you need assistance during your stay.

Set directly on the waterfront, this dog-friendly home is positioned perfectly to showcase the dramatic east moraine and the ever-changing colors of Wallowa Lake.
The Meadowlark’s charm begins the moment you step inside. The main level opens into a warm, vintage-inspired space where the kitchen and dining room welcome you with sunlight and lake views from the living room. With two dining tables, this is a home that invites long game nights, puzzle marathons, and shared meals as the lake glows outside the windows.
Just beyond, the spacious living room centers around a rustic stone fireplace—perfect for cool evenings after a day on the water. Off the living room, a large sliding glass door opens to the deck. This deck quickly becomes the heart of your stay: a place to sip your morning coffee, read in the afternoon sun, or simply sit and watch your kids play in the flat grassy yard below. And of course, the private boat dock is always calling—an irresistible invitation to swim, fish, or launch out for a quiet paddle. Please note the docks are seasonal!
On the main floor, you’ll also find a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination, along with the primary bedroom and king bed. This serene space also features its own sliding door to the deck, making sunrise wake-ups especially magical. A utility room with a washer and dryer, as well as a convenient half-bath, is tucked just off the living room.
Climb the stairs and the lake views only get better. The upper floor offers two more bedrooms, each with its own balcony—a rare treat that brings the serenity of Wallowa Lake right to your doorstep. You’ll also find another full bathroom upstairs, making the home ideal for families or groups who prefer a little extra space to spread out.

House Rules
No Smoking
There is no smoking inside the home or near open windows or doors.
This includes cigarettes, vaping, and any smoke-producing products.
Pets
No pets are allowed in non–pet-friendly homes.
If you are unsure whether your home is pet-friendly, please ask us before bringing a pet.
In pet-friendly homes:
Keep pets off beds and furniture.
Pick up after your pets outside.
Pets may not wander to neighboring homes, bark excessively, or chase wildlife.
Service animals are always welcome (they are not considered pets), but we do ask that you provide the proper documentation.
Prohibited Items & Activities
No illegal substances of any kind.
No fireworks.
No fires, including fire pits, unless your home specifically provides an approved fire feature.
No campers, RVs, tents, or outdoor sleeping setups.
No additional vehicles beyond what your reservation allows.
Guest & Occupancy Limits
Do not exceed the maximum occupancy of the home at any time, per county regulations.
Example: If the home sleeps 6, you may not have 12 guests over for dinner—even if no one stays overnight.
Noise & Neighborhood Courtesy
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
No loud music at any time.
Please be respectful—be a good neighbor.
Do not block any driveways or roads.
Security Cameras
For the safety of guests and property, entry doors are equipped with cameras focused only on the doorway area.

Docks
If your home includes a dock, please note:
Docks are seasonal, typically available mid-May through Labor Day, depending on weather and lake conditions. No refunds or discounts for docks not being in the water as that is something out of our control.
BBQs & Patio Furniture
Outdoor furniture and BBQs are seasonally placed and may not be available during the winter months or severe weather.
Internet & Cell Service
WiFi
During peak season, WiFi may run slower due to high usage in the area.
Cell Coverage
Coverage varies by carrier:
Verizon – strongest overall
US Cellular – generally reliable
AT&T & T-Mobile – often spotty in some areas
Travel & Winter Conditions
If you are visiting during the winter months:
Chains and/or traction tires are strongly recommended.
4WD or AWD vehicles are highly recommended due to icy and snowy road conditions.
Please plan ahead for winter driving—road conditions can change quickly.
