Secluded Beach - Off-Grid Villa - King Beds
All good things are found at the end of a dirt road. This space was designed to frame the natural beauty of the contrast of desert and ocean and to inspire adventure with the landscape. The beach at your doorstep will take you on a sensory experience like no other. Watch whales, mobula rays, and many others migrate to the Sea of Cortez right from your bedroom. Only a 20 minute drive from Cabo San Lucas, this indoor/outdoor villa is perfect for groups looking for a secluded experience. The space was designed to give guests privacy within their own bedrooms and bathrooms but invite groups to come together in the central communal areas. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a uniquely beautiful interior aesthetic, full size folding glass doors to ocean views and private full bathrooms. The den has an attached half bathroom and a queen sized murphy bed that can be stowed for watching movies or working. The kitchen and dining area is an indoor/outdoor space with folding doors that connect the space to the pool and patio area. The stairs from the pool lead down to third bedroom which opens up onto the beach. From there you can access what is almost always your own private beach. Swimming can be quite dangerous as the waves are very powerful on the Pacific side of the Baja so its best to stick to the pool for swimming. The house is completely off the grid and runs on solar panels for power and a propane generator for backup. We're also proud to offer a huge upgrade in the wifi department with Starlink. Fast wifi is very hard to come by in the Baja so you'll be happy to know that Zoom calls and streaming are a-go! You will be able to access the entire property minus the utility rooms and storage closet. I live in Todos Santos (about 45 minutes away) and will be available during your stay for any advice, recommendations, or problems that arise. Rancho Margarita is a secluded beach front community 20 minute drive north from Cabo San Lucas. The ranch has about 20 homes occupied mostly by American and Canadian expats. The neighbourhood has access to several miles of coastline and pristine beaches on the Pacific Ocean as well as cactus studded desert hiking trails through the arroyos. The neighbourhood has a local family that lives at the first gate (right off the highway) and watches traffic as well as a second gate (coded) at the entrance to the neighbourhood. The house is a 45 minute drive from the airport and can be accessed directly by the new toll road which bypasses the traffic of San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. The neighbourhood is located off of highway 19 between km marker 107 and 106 at the dirt road turn off 50 metres south of El Comal Restaurant (big yellow and orange building) turn off. Another quick 3.5 Km down the dirt road and you have arrived in paradise my friend. Parking is unlimited. Pescadero is the closest town to the north on highway 19 (about 30 minutes on the highway) and has a wonderful surfing/swimming beach and several fantastic restaurants. My favourites are... -Barracuda Cantina - Best fish and shrimp tacos you will ever have (at Cerritos beach which is also the surfing beach) - Hierbabuena - A wonderful farm to table experience - Coyote - An upscale food truck dining experience with great cocktails! - Hotel San Cristobal - Great cocktails and sunsets with a great restaurant Todos Santos is another ten minute drive past Pescadero and is a hip Baja art town. You can find cool boutique clothing stores, art galleries, delicious food, and beautiful architecture. Definitely worth checking out Todos Santos! Cabo San Lucas is the big party city. It is about 20 minutes south once you are on the highway. This is the most touristy of all the nearby locations. You can find fancy restaurants, big box shopping outlets, nightclubs and dancing, busy beaches and all the tourist attractions that you saw in the magazines on the plane here. San Jose Del Cabo is another 30 minutes past Cabo San Lucas and it is the more down to earth cabo cousin. It has wonderful restaurants, great shopping, and a town square with rich history and an art walk on Saturday nights.
