Family getaway

Our family with multiple age range had a fantastic stay. The house had a fabulous fit out with everything to make our holiday easy and relaxing. The location was brilliant and our time on the river so much fun having hired a boat nearby.

Amazing place and river access

Loved the river access and grassed area. House was great and kitchen was well set out and had everything we could need. Loved that there was 2 full sized fridges. View from the balcony was awesome. A toilet downstairs would make this place perfect.

River Retreat

We had a few days break with extended family, the house is well set up for a large group with many different areas people can congregate and have their own space. Location on the river is fantastic as are the facilities in the property. A great place to entertain family and friends!

Great stay!

We have stayed at this property multiple times now and always have a great time. perfect for boating activities and also just relaxing by the river. house is very well equipped with everything you need for a river stay.

Amazing getaway spot for multiple families

We had four families fit incredibly well at this home. It was fantastic. There were plenty of space for all of us including plenty of seats, plates and glasses which is often not the case in larger properties. Would stay again.

Washpool Wonder

Great location with private river frontage and jetty for any watercraft mooring. Ideal for entertaining with ample space but just as impressive for comfort and lounging about. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Break

Very Clean & very well appointed house. Just a short trip into Tailem Bend to top up supplies. 16 family members and we had a great time relaxing.

Fantastic Property

Walshpool was very well appointed. It was clean and spacious. The beds were super comfy even the bunks down stairs. The host was very accommodating and available to answer all our questions about the properties automation. There was really no need to leave over the course of the weekend. We loved it! Thank you

Fantastic Getaway Location

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this property over the long weekend with 4 Families and we could not be more impressed. This luxurious property allowed for a comfortable stay for everyone. The kids zone including the pinball machines were a great hit. Plenty of Fridge space in 3 separate locations and a balcony with a stunning view of the water was great to enjoy at night. The Bali Hut by the river bed (inclusive of another bar fridge) was a great set up by the water everyday. We loved our stay and and have booked again! Thank you for having us Simon and Sarah!! X

Beautiful well-appointed home away from home

What a fantastic, well-appointed home to relax and entertain. We celebrated my partners 60th birthday and had family and friends fly in from Qld, NSW and the NT. There were 15 of us staying but the layout of the house guaranteed we weren't crowding each other. There was plenty of room to break away or come together. The games room was a hit with kids and adults alike. The fantastic large kitchen met our needs for catering, outdoor BBQ did the trick for cooking up a large meal and the extra large dining table fit all of us for a wonderful laughter-filled meal. There's also a warm outdoor spa that was an added delight. The location is quiet and the backyard view spectacular over the river. The upstairs area has the 3 double bedrooms, main bedroom with ensuite, kitchen, dining, toilet/bathroom, laundry and outdoor entertainment area with BBQ. TVs are in each room and the on the patio. Downstairs has the bunk room that has 4 double bunks with trundles. This is off the games room that houses 3 pinball machines, a parlour games console and a postman pat ride for the little ones. Then there's the other patio area with spa and access to the yard that has a bali hut and jetty. The bedrooms were cosy with all linen and blankets provided. The master bedroom with ensuite was beautifully appointed and all rooms have bluetooth speakers for your own play list.There are also charging stations located throughout the house for your phone - great idea! All crockery, cutlery, cookware and glassware is provided. There's gladwrap and foil and rubbish bags too (although not sure if these were left over from previous tenants - so maybe byo). All in all we would highly recommend this house for your next group trip. We will definitely keep it on our list of locations for future get togethers.

Perfect family retreat

Fabulous family long weekend in a very quiet part of the river where the children could canoe, paddle board and jump off the jetty safely. The children’s bunk room and lounge with pinball machines was a great hit as was the spa after many chilly river swims. With 11 of us ranging in age from 5 to 70, indoor and outdoor spaces were perfact. A downstairs toilet would be a great addition.

Fantastic and spacious holiday home with everything you could want!

We booked Platinum on Washpool to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The property was absolutely beautiful with a huge balcony and outdoor kitchen, two large lounge areas, quality linen in every room, a brilliant outdoor area downstairs with pinballs (very popular with our group) plus a Bali hut pverlooking the river and a private jetty and 'beach' area. There was a huge dining table, fantastic kitchen with loads of dishes, cutlery, glasses and coffee machine. All furniture was top quality and comfortable. We loved the large laundry with huge fridge as soon as you entered the house. The owners were very helpful, friendly and professional with any queries and check-in was easy. We were all sorry to leave!
