Features include a dramatic great room with 26-ft ceilings, wood-burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and an epic game/theater room with surround sound. My friends and I did our annual dad’s ski trip and the house was great. The owners are lovely and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in a secluded escape.

Kellie was incredibly helpful and quick to reply (especially when we showed up and didn't read the message about our door code! She remote buzzed is in in less than 5 min!).The property itself was extremely clean, very cozy, and unique in the best ways - such charm! Definitely going to be staying again, would highly recommend!

Life eventually whisked me away for college and work, but I always dreamed of having a peaceful escape back in the mountains… a place far from traffic and deadlines.

After long workdays and city chaos, we wanted a quiet spot to unplug and recharge. The moment we found the land where **Mountain Vista** now stands, we knew it was *the one*. Two years (and a lot of late nights and coffee) later, our little dream cabin came to life.

At first, we shared it only with friends and family—and after seeing how much fun they had making memories of their own, we figured, why not open it up to others? That’s how our hosting journey began. Since then, we’ve met so many wonderful people, and it’s been a joy to share this special place.

We live in the tri-state area, and having gown up in upstate New York, I learned to appreciate just how beautiful New York State truly is. We dreamed of a getaway that was close to home and still near my family in NY, and the moment we discovered this piece of land, we knew it was the perfect spot for our home away from home. Nestled in the woods yet conveniently close to the charming college town of Oneonta, historic Cooperstown and it's infamous All Star Village, and countless mountains and hiking trails, it offered everything we were looking for—peace, nature, and a touch of small-town charm.
