Overall was a nice apartment which suited our needs. The apartment could use a little TLC as we noted what appears to be water damage on bottom of some doors, dusty picture frames, stains in master toilet bowl, broken lamp, and bedroom tv did not turn on (likely remote batteries were dead). Also, was stated to have 110& 220 outlets but the apartment is only 220 and although they provided a few adapters, many were not for 110. We had to go to the hardware store to purchase 110 adapters to properly charge our numerous devices. Mid-stay cleaning, bedding and towel exchange was very nice. They did a nice job refreshing the apartment for our final week. Location was perfect. Close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. Beach towels were provided.Ultimately, the apartment was nice and I would stay there again.

Great location—just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants. The grounds are well-kept and the area felt very safe. The unit had all the basic appliances in working order, which made our stay comfortable. As others have noted, the place could use a fresh coat of paint, and a privacy screen on the terrace would be a nice touch since it faces the parking lot. The mattress in the master bedroom was a bit firm for my taste. We did spot a few cockroaches, which we reported to the host—probably due to leaving the doors and windows open. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a great option for anyone looking for an affordable spot near the beach.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Das Apartment war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchte. Unsere Betreuung vor Ort - Shaymara - half uns sofort weiter, wenn wir Fragen hatten oder Hilfe bei der Organisation der Anreise bzw. Abreise brauchten. Es war alles so, wie in der Anzeige beschrieben.

Great location. Waited just over a week for an oven replacement. Washer wouldn’t work because a valve was not turned on. Had limited towels until 3 days into stay. Bedding definitely needs to be replaced.

Wonderful

We had a couple of glitches but these were looked after as promptly as possible on Island time. Blue Bay is amazing this is our 2nd time staying here and will definitely book again. The unit is spacious and has everything you need. See you next year

Ground Floor Apartment in Blue Bay

Nice location, clean property and excellent communication with property management. Ground floor location has view of parking lot but handy to accessing the pool, beach, golf course, restaurants etc. Could use some updating and fixing of minor repairs but would stay here again.

Beautiful tropical vacation

Property exactly as listed. Close to beach, good size pool steps away, lots of greenery outside. I was very happy with the efficiency and ease of checkin and checkout process. A very pleasant stay. I would absolutely recommend.

The ground floor condo situated next to the parking lot was a bit noisy at times.The location of the condo made the 5 min walk to the beach easy just follow the path through the villas.The property manager was friendly and very helpful, quick to answer any questions. I would definitely stay at this property again

A comfortable stay

Overall stay was good. The apartment is large, very comfortable and in general clean. Some parts need a little TLC just to make it 100% perfect. Our hostess Carmela was quick to reply to our inquiries. The best thing about the apartment is its proximity to the Blue Bay beach and the restaurants. It's just a few minutes away on walking distance. We will surely consider it for a future stay, and recommend it to all who travel to Curacao!

We stayed here last year so we knew what to expect. The property is as described Mitchell and Carmela are very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay.

TV's were broken & bulbs burnt out.

My wife and I are VRBO owners ourselves, so we know how tough it can be to rent to people. But the small simple things should never be missed or forgotten. I notified management that the kitchen had 4 burnt out light bulbs and that neither TV worked. They told me maintenance would come and look at it. They removed 1 of the TV's and the other still didn't get any kind of signal, unless you wanted to watch "snow". None of the light bulbs ever got replace in the 7 night stay, nor did we ever get a TV that worked. The Blue Bay Beach is a 7-8 minute walk from the Apt, longer on the way back because it's up hill the whole way. The beach was very nice, and the restaurant food was good. But as a warning, watch your check. They tried to charge $97.00 for a $35.00 bottle of wine we ordered. Say mistake? When I called them on it, it was then a $65.00 bottle, and they wouldn't budge. They even went as far as remembering everything about the bottle..... Until I showed them the photo I took from my Vivino app. Which shows the $35.00 bottle from the menu. Overall we were disappointed with the Apt. Curacao was very beautiful and we will be back, just not at blue bay resort.
