Small room

Property is great, clean all that... I expected a little space in the room. Not even a couch. It's a seriously small room... we had the things we needed, it was clean but cost was high and room size was small.

Dan is a new member of VRBO and unfortunately, I can not recommend him.. He stayed during the biggest holiday of the year in South Lake Tahoe LABOR DAY. Weekend The entire Luxury Marriott resort was sold out. Dan booked a Jr. Studio Suite, double the size of a hotel room. If he wanted a larger space, he should have booked a one Bedroom unit.. He receive a discount rate as the Marriott charged Double the price. He received an excellent special rate with us. ** Dan stayed in a 5 Star Marriott with Heated Pool, 2 Hot tubs, Fitness Center, Activity Desk, Full Kitchen, Sauna, Steam Room, Fireplace and the Marriott Gondola outside the door if he wanted to go up the mountain and see the exquisite view. The Marriott is in the Heart of the Heavenly village with restaurants and music right out side the resort. What more could he ask but a larger room? Our Photos are accurate and does not show a couch We want all our guests to be happy. Perhaps if he wanted to Save money, he should not plan to come to South Lake Tahoe on Labor Day.

Ski trip

Great time. Great location. Room was smaller than expected, kinda like the size of a normal hotel room including the kitchen but was good for the two of us. Everything was perfect except there was a little hiccup the day of regarding confirming check in. But it all worked out. Location was the best! I would consider this a 4 star hotel in my opinion.

I am sorry you had a "hiccup" upon check in with the front desk at the Marriott. I am glad that they worked it out for you. The following is the STAR Rating: Marriott is a 5 Star. Please visit us again. Four-Star Hotel Four-star hotels are extremely nice, and you'll notice the difference as soon as you walk into the lobby and see the decor. The rooms are often bigger and fancier, with a large bed, a minibar, a safe, a workstation, bathrobes and a modern TV. The hotel usually offers valet parking, a spa, a gym, a pool and similar services. Five-Star Hotel A five-star hotel has all the amenities you'd hope to find in a hotel and more. Five-star hotels usually have luxurious spas and gigantic lobbies and provide welcome gifts and butler service. A typical room has an oversized bathroom lined with marble counters and a large vanity laden with high-end toiletries. Most five-star resorts have golf courses, tennis courts, health clubs with personal trainers and even child-care services.
