• Our goal is for you to feel at home and have a carefree vacation. Therefore, you’ll find our cabin fully stocked with items such as toilet paper, paper towels, hygiene products and so much more.
• You’ll find many little touches for an eco-friendly stay including recycling and many all-natural products.
• You help us make a difference in the local community, as with each stay, we donate to support kids entering the local foster care system.
• You’ll have access to the entire cabin except for the storage closets.
• The community pool is managed by the HOA; therefore, availability and condition of the pool are out of our control. We will do our best as a liaison, but please note that no refunds will be given related to any concerns with the pool. Please also note that it is not heated, but with the warm Smokies summers, the water temperature will still likely be in the 80’s most the season long.
• Although it is short, the driveway does have a steep grade, so AWD is required in winter months.
• There is space for 4 vehicles in the driveway, and there is no parking along the road.
• Check-in is a breeze with digital locks while your custom door code provides safety.
• Per our house rules, you will be required to sign a renter’s agreement at the time of booking where a copy of your ID will be requested.
• Per our house rules, you will be required to schedule a $500 security deposit hold at the time of booking. The hold is processed the day before your check-in and, as long as the cabin and property are left in good condition, it is released within 3 days of your check-out.
• We understand that accidents happen. As part of your reservation, you will receive accidental damage protection for up to $1,500 (exclusions apply). We kindly ask that you inform us of any damages in a timely manner. If the damage was caused by negligence, breaking of house rules or it falls under the exclusions, it may be withheld from your security deposit. Communication is key. Likewise, should you find anything broken upon arrival, please notify us right away so that we can correct the situation for you in a quick and timely manner.
• There is no smoking or vaping in the cabin.
• If you are bringing a pet, this must be included in your booking so that the applicable pet fee is included in your rate. In addition, to the provided amenities, we also provide towels for your pups’ paws and a vacuum to make keeping the cabin clean during your stay a breeze. We kindly request you to crate your pet when unattended.
• Guests consistently praise our attention to cleanliness, which is attainable for our cleaners to maintain by our guests following the basic check-out instructions. We reserve the right to withhold money from the security deposit if you do not complete the requested tasks. We stand behind our cleanliness standards and will promptly address any concerns you have.
• For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there are external security cameras facing outward only from the cabin.
• There are no refunds for weather. We suggest you consider purchasing travel insurance for possible cancellations.
• Safety is paramount to us! Therefore, we've thought of every detail so that you don't have to worry while on your vacation. You'll find things like flashlights, first aid kits and fire extinguishers all strategically placed, should an emergency arise. During certain times of the year, there is an elevated fire risk in the mountains, and burn bans may be implemented. We do our best to keep you informed during such times and provide safety and emergency information to all guests.
