この施設について

Cozy, comfortable cabin in northern Vermont for relaxing or out door adventures.

Relax and enjoy this cozy one bedroom cabin centrally located in northern Vermont. There is plenty to do year round, just 3 miles from pLake Eden. It is located almost equidistant between several ski resorts, with Jay Peak to the north, Stowe to the south, Smugglers Notch to the west and Craftsbury Outdoor Center for cross country skiing to the east. There are hiking and biking trails nearby and it is close to the VAST snowmobile trails. This simple, but comfortable space, features a cozy queen size bed perfect for a restful night. There is a TV and internet available. The full bathroom offers both a shower or tub for a relaxing soak after a busy day outdoors. The full kitchen allows for creating your own meals, but local recommendations for dining and other activities can be found in the cabin. There is a second cabin next door if traveling with friends. The cabin is pet friendly, so you can travel with your furry companions. This spot is quiet and rural, with mountain views, but conveniently located next to the Eden General Store where they have groceries, beer, wine and essentials. All in all, a great spot for a relaxing get away.

I would absolutely recommend staying here! We had such a great long weekend and this home was the icing on the cake. Located right down the street from the lake, steps away from the local country store, and just outside of Stowe which was perfect for avoiding traffic! Sherry was a fantastic host with great communication!

The cabin is exceptionally clean, affordable, well-stocked, and charming. Please note that neighbors are very close by, and a local cemetery is visible across the meadow. If you don't mind these surroundings, it's a wonderful place to stay!

The cabin was perfect! We had everything we needed and stayed warm and cozy. There was coffee, olive oil, and some seasonings, which was helpful. Sherry even included a bottle of wine and chocolate for us! The location was perfect- very quiet and in walking distance from a general store that has everything you might need. We definitely would come back again. Thank you!

Kitchen was stocked with everything you would use on a daily basis. Bed was soft and easy to sleep in. My only complaint would be the only tv was in the bedroom which made it hard to watch.

This lovely cabin has the perfect vibe for the rustic Northeast Kingdom of Vermont- fresh, clean, and full of beautiful clear light! It is simply and carefully fitted with warm touches to promote relaxation without fusiness. The mountains and meadow view is spectacular. It is situated within a short driving distance of shopping, and eating, and entertainment spots to be found in every direction. The nearby (but not intrusive) General Store in the community was well-stocked and their deli/ grill fresh food offerings were yum. We were sad to leave, but determined to return!

The setting and cabin was very nice. Some suggestions:1. The bed was very soft and spongy. We like firm beds but we know some like soft spongy,.2. There was a strong paint smell in the cabin. We did open all the windows though and that helped a lot.3. We area older, and appreciate grab bars in the shower. There were none.4. There was no cell service for my phone, but my wife's phone did have some service.Overall a great cabin and experience.

Thank you for your suggestions and comments. No paint has been used in the cabin, but we will be sure to use milder smelling cleaning products in the future, which must have been the cause of the odor. It is good to know that cell phone coverage is not consistent throughout the state of Vermont, but internet is available at the cabin. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay!

Clean, welcoming, and with the scent of new cedar- this place was amazing. Tucked just off Rt. 100 about halfway between Stowe and Jay Peak, with a great general store close by and yet quiet and rural. It’s a steal at the price. The shower was awesome, the bed very comfortable, and the host very accommodating. She got the place ready for me on short notice! I will definitely be back!

My son and I stayed here during our recent trip to ski and visit the waterpark at Jay Peak. Sherry was wonderful host and her cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. The cabin was spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. There's a general store within walking distance for groceries. Sherry was very responsive to any questions we had and when she ran into a snag in extending our trip she graciously comped us an extra night. Look forward to staying her again on our next visit to the area.

Sherry was fabulous! She made sure I arrived safely. This place was well equipped with everything needed! I have some constructive feedback. A couch vs. the camp chairs would be a game changer. Also, the rinnai heater rattles so if you are sensitive to sound, it may keep you up all night.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I moved to Vermont 35 years ago. I have raised three children here and enjoyed a career as a physical therapist, recently retiring after many years. I went from helping people move to helping people relax, as I try to provide a comfortable space to stay while getting away. I love the outdoors and the four seasons. Life is ever changing, peaceful, and sometimes challenging here in the mountains. It’s a great place to be.
