Apartment #1 is a large 1-bedroom with lots of old-world character. Expect, original hardwood floors in the living room and bedroom, a 1930`s bathroom, beautiful wood carpentry & a little kitchenette. The sofa in the main area is also a solid sleeper pull out. The apartment looks down on National Ave. We`re one of the last Authentic German restaurants and Inn`s left in country and the apartment is right above it! We hope you love this place as much as we do!

Apt #1 is a well-appointed 1 bedroom located on the second floor above the Most Authentic German Restaurant in Milwaukee: Kegel`s Inn. Located in the heart of West Allis, apartment #1 is great for overnights, weekend getaways, and with a kitchenette, great for long extended stays if your traveling for work. Feel right at home while still being close to everything in Milwaukee. The Inn has great freeway access and sits only 6 miles from the Lakefront and Downtown Milwaukee. Close to lots of amenities, the property is also centrally located just minutes from Miller Park, Wisconsin State Fair, Pettit National Ice Center, Milwaukee County Zoo, Harley Davidson, and the VA Hospital.

Guests will have the room completely to yourself. A Roku TV, access free Wi-fi as well as free overnight parking in the parking lot.

We live just a few miles away and could be there within minutes if you need any assistance. We used to be adventure guides in Alaska, so we love helping people figure out where to go and see the local flavor! Please feel free to shoot us your travel questions. Our little building is located in the heart of West Allis, it`s walking distance to lots of amenities and several other great food spots and bar options. (Although we`re partial to ours!) It has great freeway access and is within 5-10 minutes of many of Milwaukee`s best attractions. Just around the corners is a Walgreens, also two nearby gas stations, a short walk to the West Allis Farmers Market, and lots more! A very short drive to Miller Park, Downtown West Allis, Downtown Milwaukee, Summerfest, Harley Davidson Museum, Veterans Hospital (VA) Brewer games, parks and Lake Michigan Lakefront.

Extremely easy freeway access. Hank Aaron State Bike Trail just a few blocks away. Two Bus Lines (#23 & Blue line) right out the front door can whisk you to downtown.

There are Window A/C units in each of the bedrooms and a floor unit in the living room. Don`t forget downstairs is one of the Best German Restaurants in the region. Kegel`s Inn has been the locals` go-to destination for authentic German cuisine and continues to top the charts as one of the best places to catch a Friday Fish Fry in Milwaukee.
