The condo is located a block away from world famous Waikiki beach and Kalakaua avenue. Kuhio Beach offers novice surfing lessons, canoe rides and sunset catamaran tours. Other attractions within walking distance include Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, along with world class shopping and restaurants on Kuhio and Kalakaua avenues. An easy, must-do hike at Diamond Head Crater is a short car ride away.
The condo comfortably sleeps 7 with a cali-king bed in the primary bedroom, a queen sized bed in the second bedroom and a queen sized pull out sleeper sofa in the living room. We also have a Pack 'n Play crib/ bassinet for younger children, and a small futon couch, which fits comfortably in the primary bedroom. The second bedroom offers an office desk and chair for those who need a quiet space to work while you're on vacation. Both bedrooms offer full sized bathrooms with standup showers. Both bedrooms and the living room, have individual split a/c units, allowing you to set different temperatures in each room. Log in to your personal media streaming service from the 50" Smart TV in the living room, or tune in to local cable channels for viewing the news, sports and your favorite network shows. The TV in the primary bedroom is a 65" Smart TV and connected to wifi, but is not connected to local cable. Free high speed wireless internet is available throughout the unit, perfect for video calls, gaming or researching the next day's itinerary. The cozy outdoor patio is a great place to get some fresh Hawaiian air and relax on the outdoor furniture set. The kitchen is fully equipped with newer appliances, including full sized fridge, range/oven, microwave, washer and dryer. A coffee maker, Keurig machine, blender, electric kettle, and toaster are available for your convenience along with pots, pans, cooking and dining utensils and dish sets.
Staying in Waikiki means you can typically reach any destination on Oahu in 45 minutes or less barring any rush hour or unexpected traffic. Make time to visit the beautiful North Shore of Oahu and plan to shop and dine in Haleiwa town and view the big waves in the winter. Spend a day in Kailua Town hiking the Lanikai Pillboxes, relaxing on Kailua Beach, or dining at one of Kailua's popular boutique eateries. Whale-watch at the top of the Makapu'u lighthouse trail in early Spring, learn about Hawai'i's ocean life at Sea Life Park, then explore movie sets at Kualoa Ranch, on the east side of Oahu. So much to do, and it's super convenient to have a home base in Waikiki!
You will have an assigned parking stall throughout your stay. Near your parking stall you will find a lock box with a keyfob inside, which provides access to the building and elevator. When you get to the apartment, you will enter your personal code to unlock the front door. There are 2 additional key fobs available for your use during your stay. Parking stall information as well as the lock box code and front door code will be provided prior to your arrival.
The unit is registered with the City & County of Honolulu and licensed to operate as a legal short term vacation rental. Have peace of mind that this rental is 100% legal and will not be canceled or shut down before your arrival. Taxes required by the City & County of Honolulu and State of Hawaii include 10.25% TAT (Transient Accommodation Tax), 3% OTAT (Oahu Transient Accommodation Tax) and 4.712% GET (General Excise Tax).

I was born and raised on Oahu, while my wife was born and raised in South Korea. We love hosting because of our love for traveling. We have traveled to many different countries in Asia and Europe and almost always wished for more comfortable lodging. We always talked about how we would offer lodging that was so beautiful and comfortable, that anyone who stayed there would wish it was their home. That is exactly how we felt while we were renovating this unit. We wished it was our full-time home!
