Dani is Brazilian, a pasionate lover of music, and Dave, a musician, born and bred in Kenya, Africa.
Between them they speak English, Portuguese and French (also some good old 'Portunhol') and are available to welcome their guests with tips on where to go and how and provide all the support their guests need to feel safe and relaxed in a foreign country.
Their passion for Brazilian music has led them to a fair understanding of the huge universe of all the regional rhythms and musical styles of Brazilain music:
from Chula to Chorinho, Samba to Sertanejo, Funk carioca to Forró, Maracatu to MPB, Bossa nova to Batucada .....the list goes on and on.
Dave and Dani live just about an hour away and are happy to help with anything you may need.
Dani's mum Tania is a sweet and charismatic person and she is now living in the self-contained adjacent apartment.
She has no access to common areas and will stay in her flat most of the time, but she is very happy to help if you need anything. (PS: She makes a good caipirinha).
