Summary:
A design-forward mountain home on five acres in Quebec's Laurentians, 15 minutes from Mont-Tremblant. Built by French-Canadian owner Caroline with Prim Haus architects and Kristiina Eljand Interiors, the home was conceived around one intention: a place where people genuinely slow down. The material palette is wabi-sabi filtered through a Scandinavian eye: natural textures, considered finishes, and works by local artists on the walls.
The Space:
Four bedrooms and four en-suite bathrooms sleeping eight. Bedroom one: king bed, double vanity, walk-in shower, freestanding tub, sweeping woodland views. Bedrooms two and three: queen beds, en-suite with walk-in shower. Bedroom four: queen bed and bunk bed, en-suite with walk-in shower.
The chef's kitchen features a 16-foot island, Jenn-Air appliances, Smeg espresso machine, Nespresso Vertuo, French press, raclette set, and fondue set. Coffee and tea station with locally sourced Lady T teas and organic beans.
Outdoors: in-ground saltwater pool, seven-person hot tub, six-person sauna, corten-steel fire pit, barbecue, and dining terrace. Bonus office space with dedicated desk and antique chair. Washer and dryer. EV charger. Three parking spaces. Cathedral-ceiling grand room with piano, wine fridge, sound system, and fireplace.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to all indoor and outdoor amenities: saltwater pool, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, garden areas, barbecue, and dining terrace. Three parking spaces available on site, including one EV charger. Fast, reliable Wi-Fi throughout, with a dedicated bonus office space. Self-check-in details provided on reservation.
The Neighborhood:
The Laurentians run four seasons and Alpine Rêverie is positioned for all of them. Le P'tit Train du Nord, 234 kilometres of trail for cycling, walking, running, and cross-country skiing, passes close to the house. Mont-Tremblant ski resort is 15 minutes by car; Mont-Blanc is 25. In warmer months, the Rivière Rouge runs to SUP, tubes, and kayaks. Golf at Le Maître, La Bête, and Le Diable. For eating out: La Petite Cachée, La Savoie, sEb L'Artisan Culinaire, La Sandwicherie, 83 Nord, and Yaooo Pizza.
The town of Tremblant is small and quiet - the kind of place where on-demand delivery does not always reach. That is part of what makes a week here feel like a week somewhere real.
Getting Around:
A car is required. The road to the house is steep - in winter, snow tires and an all-wheel drive vehicle are strongly advisable. Three parking spaces on site; EV charger available. Nearest airports: Mont-Tremblant (YTM, 126.5km), Montreal Mirabel (YMX, 64.4km), Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau (YUL, 105.3km).
Other Things to Note:
Original works by Quebec artist Robert Ducharme hang throughout the home and are available for purchase. The house also features hand-knit chunky blankets, soy candles, and regional teas from Lady T, all local. Guests are asked to complete a check-in form after booking. Details are provided on reservation.
CITQ: 320779.
Interaction with Guests:
Alpine Rêverie is designed for guests who value privacy, nature, and the comfort of a beautifully-appointed home. While you will enjoy the independence of a luxury self-catered stay, you are never without support. Your dedicated Guest Experience Host, Stephanie, is available throughout your stay to answer questions, provide local recommendations, and coordinate assistance should anything require attention. As Alpine Rêverie is nestled in a small Laurentian community, certain third-party services such as emergency housekeeping or snow removal during severe weather, may not always be available on-demand. Likewise, access to the fire pit may occasionally be restricted during winter conditions for safety reasons.
