We enjoyed our time here. The view is outstanding from everywhere. I ate more fruit during our stay, courtesy of all of the fruit trees at this property, than I have eaten in recent memory. The hot tub and pool were used daily and perfect for play and relaxation for our group. The set up was perfect. Bedrooms separated from the kitchen and living spaces were ideal as we are early risers and didn't disturb others when we were grinding coffee... Though Kona gets more attention, and we have stayed there as well, Hilo feels more representative of the Hawaiian culture and tropical feel. Matt (the caretaker) was very responsive and attentive to our needs and keeps things running smoothly. We went horseback riding nearby and also did a few things in Kona too, including a Costco run:) I highly recommend the farmer's market in Hilo as well. It was terrific. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Privacy

Great location great pool and hot tub area. The property manager was there when needed and left us alone otherwise. Thank yoy for the use of the poperty was excellent for our family get away.

Beautiful surroundings

Incredible sprawling estate with beautiful views of the ocean and amazing dawn chorus from the many birds. Spacious rooms, not luxury but comfortable and house is equipped with all the essentials. Great outdoor area with large pool, hot tub and swim up bar. Housekeeper was responsive and helpful.

Perfect

We had the most enjoyable stay! The view is breathtaking! The bedrooms are huge and private! Tons of dishes and 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, perfect pool! Matt was always able to answer questions and help us with what we needed!!

This VRBO listing worked wonderfully for our trip. The property was beautiful and was in the perfect location for all of the places we needed to visit. Matt was always very responsive and helpful with anything that we needed!

50th birthday party get together

Spectacular private estate with wonderful views and amenities. The guest suites and overall layout makes for a perfect, comfortable get away for multiple couples. Estate grounds are beautiful and well manicured. We all felt like we were at a luxury private resort. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic home

We stayed here for our annual family vacation. It was very relaxing and wonderful in every way. We did have an issue with ants in the kitchen but I bought ant spray and that worked. Would definitely stay there again.

Private beauty

We had a fabulous time. The property is unbelievable and so well designed. Private bedrooms with unbelievable showers. So much living space where we could enjoy each other and relax. So many areas where we could hang out together or go off for quiet time. Pool area was perfect for everyone.

While the indoor spaces were large and nice the outdoor spaces were take your breath away beautiful

Family Fun!!

We gathered together from Colorado, Texas and Australia. It was delightful, private and much better weather than we expected. Also, thanks to help from Matt we were able to enjoy a beautiful evening cooked by Dori. It really was a special treat. The pool and grounds are lovely so we used them daily. Would definitely recommend this home for family gatherings.

This is a beautiful property; well maintained, ocean view and lots of privacy. Matt, the property manager was amazing. Whales were migrating and we watched the in the mornings and early afternoon.

Beautiful estate away from the bustle

Gorgeous view eating on the lanai every day, as well as the pool and hot tub. Rural location, so very peaceful-the only noise in the morning being the neighborhood roosters chatting back and forth. It was about 1.5 hours from Kona, so we tried to bundle activities together on that side of thrbisland to cut down on road time.

Perfect for small family get-together

This place is great for 4 couples! Basically, there is a wing of four suites, each quite spacious and comfy. We used most/all of the amenities and had a great time. While the place is a bit dated, and it's not convenient to grocery shopping or restaurants, you just need a little planning to make it all work perfectly, which it did for us.

Ideal house and setting on Hawaii

Our favorite parts of the Hawaiian islands are typically the North shores with smaller towns, lush green vegetation and no high rise hotels and this house is in a perfect spot. The house itself is perfectly designed and the gardens surrounding it are awesome. We usually pick new spots for all our family vacations, but there has already been talk of coming back.

A Fabulous Place To Stay!!

We had such a wonderful time here, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and retirement! The property is gorgeous, just as pictured. The kids loved the swimming pool and also the pool table. The hot tub was enjoyed by all! Matt, the on-site property manager, was so helpful and great with communication. We had a dinner cooked by a private chef, Chef Dori, and it really lived up to the hype. This was one for the memory book, for sure!

A true paradise!

We had a fantastic time and enjoyed every aspect of the property. Waking up to surreal sunrises, spectacular ocean views, a peek of Mauna Kea, to dazzling hues from the sky to the ocean and throughout the entire well manicured grove of fruit trees and palms on the estate at different times of the day. The property and amenities made for a Peaceful, mesmerizing, enchanting and enticing stay, with everything you could possibly want in a vacation.

Tropical paradise

This property was everything we hoped for and more. I was there with my family and we enjoyed an amazing time. The house with the theater was wonderful. The bedrooms with the big showers was a big hit with everyone. The pool and hot tub was a big hit. I would highly recommend this property and hope that we can return some day. WOW loved our time here.

Matt was great for local resources, flora & fauna to look for and be cautious about. Must have vehicle, recommend checking pantry prior to shopping. Hilo Safeway MUCH better than walmart for staples. Recommend local market in downtown Hilo for fish, meat, chicken. Highly recomend.

Greatest Family Vacation Ever, Springer family of 7 Dec. 22-Jan 5th.

We had the most wonderful time at this property. The set up of the bedrooms and the great gathering area was fabulous. The pool and hot tub was used every day of our two week stay. The property is beautiful and the view is outstanding. Joe was a great source of information on places to go and eat on both sides of the island. I would recommend this property to everybody. I hope we can make it back some time in the future

Amazing property

We enjoyed everything about our stay at this property. Everything was just as advertised and the property manager was extremely accessible and responsive. It felt like we were 100% secluded until we needed something and then it felt like calling down to the lobby of a hotel and Matt was right there. Very impressed with the service and the place was just as nice as the pictures promise. Pool was bigger than I thought it would be. We all want to come back.

On the property, you can share a fresh cup of coffee on the front lanai with a 220 degree view of the ocean and migrating whales, a midnight stroll down the moon lit driveway of 75 Royal Palms towering 60 feet in the starlit sky, swimming in the 50, 000 gallon infinity edge pool overlooking the ocean, sunning on the pool deck, relaxing in the pool lanai or swim up bar, enjoying a jacuzzi next to the 8 foot waterfall, watching a movie or sporting event on the 16 foot theatre screen, or playing a game of pool.
