This luxury Tuscan farmhouse called “Fonte Senesi” lies in the wonderful Val d'Orcia (protected area by UNESCO since 1996), the valley of the Siennese clay hills in southern Tuscany.
Born as an old farmhouse built in 1846, Fonte Senesi today is a small jewel to discover: exposed wooden beams, wrought iron, terracotta floors, antique chest of drawers make it a comfortable 'refuge', for our very lucky guests.

This charming farmhouse is composed of TWO large independent and separated APARTMENTS, one at the ground floor and the second at the 1st floor.

APARTMENT AT GROUND FLOOR (230 m2): enter into a large living area with a fireplace and two bright French windows. There is a dining room with a table for 16 people and a big fully equipped kitchen. A guest bathroom has a shower. The first double bedroom has a queen size bed (160 cm) and ensuite bathroom with tub. The second double bedroom also has a queen size bed (160 cm) plus an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The last bedroom has a set of narrow twin beds (80 cm), most suitable for young people, and an ensuite bathroom with shower.

APARTMENT AT FIRST FLOOR (200 m2): enter into a large living area on two levels with a fireplace. There is a dining area with a table for 10 people with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. There is one double bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm) with an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi. The second double bedroom has a queen size bed (160 cm) with an ensuite bathroom with a tub. The last bedroom has a set of narrow twin beds (80 cm), most suitable for young people, with a bathroom with shower. All these three bedrooms are air conditioning.
In the first floor there is air conditioning in all house.
Fonte Senesi is surrounded by a large garden equipped with table and chairs where you can have your meals overlooking the valley at sunset, the highlight of the day.You can also enjoy these enchanting views while staying around the Private Swimming Pool (6 x 12m, Open Mid-May to 30th September) and reading a good book.

The farmhouse lies in an agricultural estate with olive groves of over 150 hectares that every year produces a wonderful oil that you can taste and buy during your stay.

The house lies just 2 km. from the paved road and from the médieval fortified village of Monticchiello, on the way to Pienza (7 km.). From Fonte Senesi all the most beautiful towns (like Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Cortona, Siena, and Arezzo, and more..), castles and churches of this side of Italy are in easy reach.
