Host was very welcoming! Staying here is a unique experience and we will be back! Lovely grounds, convenient to sites in and around Sarasota, comfortable room.

Mauricio is the most fantastic, genuine host! We thoroughly enjoy his place. It has exactly what we need for a short stay. The room is lovely and the backyard garden/pool is wonderful! Great touches for a stay we love!!

This was a beautiful place built by an authentic italian straight from Italy. I would sit on the terrace or in the hot tub and enjoy the view. He even left wine and snack in the room. Comfy large bed. Everything we needed for a great stay.

What an enjoyable stay! The atmosphere and the beauty of the whole place is stunning. The Italian architecture is stunning and so enjoyable to take in. Maurizio Was a gracious host and I really enjoyed chatting with him. Highly recommend!

Our stay in a charming part of Maurizio's large, roomy villa was wonderful. We felt completely private, but had help close at hand. Maurizio is a gracious and generous host. The villa is an easy drive to good restaurants, downtown, and Siesta Key. As others have written, being in the villa combines a trip to Italy with the pleasures of Sarasota.

This place was very clean! My wife is very picky and she was pleased as well. We didn't use the cooking facilities but as was noted elsewhere and in the description, the food prep and dining area is outside. In Florida, that's not a problem. Our biggest surprise were two cats that wandered the area around the pool. While we both like cats, I am very alergic and may have given second thought to staying there had known in advance. As I said though it was very clean inside. The cats did approach the outside eating area while we were there. When they found us uninterested, they moved on. A deal breaker? No. But certainly something to be aware of.

Beautiful Villa in Peaceful Florida

Absolutely Amazing Experience with An Amazing Host. We came for 2 days with big plans, but this place was so nice and relaxing my wife slept almost the whole time and I had no problem sitting in this little piece of paradise waiting for her to wake up. She rarely did lol butt we will be back soon to check out the beaches! Thank you for a great stay!!

Lovely place for a getaway

We stayed here to celebrate my husband's birthday. It is a beautiful home and charming property conveniently located to the area's attractions. Mauricio was very hospitable, the accommodations were impeccably decorated, and our stay was very enjoyable.

Lovely accommodations!

The property was clean, quiet, private yet close to everything-within walking distance! They even had a complimentary bottle of wine! Excellent hospitality and accommodations!

We are enjoy our home, Sarasota, life and people! The room that we offer was once the suite for Maurizio's parents when they came to visit from Italy. They are now too old to travel and we have had the pleasure to share our little bit of paradise with people from all over the world!

Location to all the best of Sarasota! A low-key, easy going host that will chat with you by the pool at sunset, or give you all the privacy you want. We will do our best to accommodate your needs but please review the property description so that you have a realistic expectation for your stay with us. Our perfect guest is looking for a place to relax after a busy day/ night of exploring Sarasota.

A quiet night after business meetings or a place to stay during season when attending the theaters, opera or symphony; walk to South Side Neighborhood for dining, music and gourmet markets. A pleasant stroll and you will find yourself at Selby Gardens and next to the bayfront and Marina Jacks.
