I am not used to this system. All of the communication prior to getting there seemed normal. However, this property is managed more like a hotel than a typical VRBO that I stay at. As such you check in at a thing that’s very much like a front desk. Which none of the instructions said anything about. Moreover, some miscommunication between the nominal owner and this property management confused my reservation. So I got a call as I was literally driving to this place telling me that I missed my check in by four days. And because none of the communication explained that this was a corporate property that I had never heard of I assume assumed that the call was a scam. This all got sorted out eventually, but not without causing some momentary panic that we’d lost our reservation. The TV listing guide was also out of date. The room was delightful otherwise and I would stay there again because now I understand how it works.
