A little tired
I would love to give this property 5 stars but I have to compare it like for like with the many other owner rental properties we have stayed in.First, the positives -Beautiful property in stunning surroundings.Very cleanArmin, the owner, was helpfulComfortable beds and couchNow the negatives -No supplies of basics such as tea, coffee, sugar.No dish drainerNo microwaveOnly one, flat pillow each - we had to use scatter cushions from the couchNo spare blankets (one evening was quite chilly)Tired bedding and towelsNo ability to stream anything on the old style TVNo leaflets or ideas of things to do in the areaThe apartment was very bare with no personal touches.To summarise - the property would benefit from an update. It has a 1980s feel about the place and needs an injection of personality. Being on a farm, a nice touch would be a welcome basket with a few things from the farm. Perhaps a bottle of wine, a couple of beers and, at least, tea coffee and sugar. Perhaps if we hadn't stayed in similar priced properties and received far more I would think differently.
