Cozy holiday home, 10 minutes from Kassel

We’re really looking forward to seeing you!
Welcome to our vacation home. We offer a cozy, non-smoking apartment with a separate entrance in a quiet yet central location in Vellmar. The living space of approximately 40 square meters spans two floors. Of course, we adhere to all hygiene measures and disinfect all surfaces and thoroughly ventilate the space after each stay.

On the first floor, there is a cozy bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm) and a large built-in closet with sliding doors, as well as a TV.
A travel crib can be provided free of charge upon request.
The staircase, which is connected to the separate entrance, leads to the first floor.
Here you’ll find the living room, kitchenette, and the bright bathroom.
The spacious living room is decorated in a modern country style and features a dining area (with a high chair), a modern sofa (which can be pulled out—size 140x210 cm, suitable for one adult or two children), a 40" LCD TV with satellite connection, and a stereo system with a CD player.
Various games and books are available for rainy days. Our younger guests can enjoy picture books, a wooden train set, and LEGO.
The small kitchenette features a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a Senseo coffee maker, and a drip coffee maker. Of course, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need (spices, vinegar, and oil are always fresh and ready for you), so nothing stands in the way of preparing delicious meals.
A small hallway leads to the spacious, naturally lit bathroom with a roomy shower featuring a rain showerhead, plenty of storage space, a hair dryer, and a makeup mirror.

The rental price includes bed linens, as well as bath and dish towels. Free parking is available around the house. Wi-Fi is included.

Our apartment is ideally located for visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the Hercules statue, the Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park, the accompanying palace, Löwenburg Castle, and, of course, all of Kassel’s museums. The tram stop is about a 4-minute walk from the apartment and takes you directly through downtown Kassel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe without having to transfer.
The internationally renowned Kassel art exhibition DOCUMENTA is also easily accessible.

The countryside nearby and the close-by Reinhardswald forest, home to the “Sleeping Beauty” castle Sababurg and its wildlife park, are perfect for strolling.

Our vacation cottage is located in a beautiful, quiet area.
The nearby fields are perfect for a walk. (There is currently a construction site a short distance away.)

Thanks to the nearby tram line (a 3-minute walk), you can reach downtown directly in about 12 minutes and get to Wilhelmshöher Park without having to transfer.

Dogs are very welcome, as long as they do not sleep in the bed (out of consideration for our guests with allergies).
Please pay 20€ on site for each dog.
