The location is definitely great. You're right in the heart of New York and can easily get anywhere you need to go in Manhattan. The host communicated well and check-in was easy. The property itself is janky. The whole place is slightly slanted. The bathroom looks like it has mold near the bathtub, and the tub leans away from the drain, so water pools on the opposite side and makes the place feel icky. The tub also flexes underfoot, and I nearly slipped trying to turn around in it. The rooms are small, and the closets are filled with the owner's stuff, so there's nowhere to put your things. The beds aren't comfortable — the one in the master slants downward, and they all squeak every time you move. The last bedroom has no windows or AC, so anyone staying in it during the summer is out of luck. The ACs elsewhere aren't great either and leave the rooms sticky and muggy. The kitchen was fine. For what you're paying, this is what to expect: a janky place in a good location. If you'll be out and about all day and don't care much about where you're sleeping, go for it.
