You’ll be staying in a small cottage right on the Kiel Canal, just outside the town of Neuwittenbek. It’s in a completely secluded location, yet only 15 minutes from the state capital, Kiel. The Baltic Sea beaches of Kiel, Eckernförde, and Schilksee are just a short drive away. The nearby coast and the hedgerow landscape of Schleswig-Holstein are perfect for swimming, hiking, and biking.
The breathtaking view of the Neuwittenbek Nature Reserve and ships from all over the world passing by guarantee a great vacation right from the start.
The Jacobsweg trail runs right past the house.
The renovation of the apartment was completed in 2020.
It is a very cozy vacation home.
IMPORTANT:
Due to the building’s structural layout, the apartment is not suitable for tall or heavy individuals.
The sleeping area is located on the upper floor and can only be reached via a narrow staircase.
Maximum weight limit: 120 kg.
In the bedroom, the bed is located under the sloped ceiling, where there is no headroom.
Children must be at least 10 years old to stay here.
The apartment is particularly well-suited for people who appreciate a beautiful home and want to enjoy proximity to nature and culture.
