Overall it was clean and uncluttered. It did have a musty smell and one bedroom smelled of urine. During the night, it rained and the roof leaked into one of the closets. I think this could be a decent VRBO with a little work.

First the good: location across from a park, hospital nearby and Costco just down the road for gas prices. AC worked great. Immediate hot water for the shower. Very quiet. The apartment had a small front yard that had a shade sail and was fenced for privacy. Great space for my little dog. I appreciated the bottled water cooler. And for the meh: first impression when arriving was trash bin was overflowing and trash all over the area made me think I made a mistake. The next morning the city picked up the trash and that was remedied. Coming in and out of the building all you could smell was neighbors smoking marijuana. It smells like skunk to me and is awful. This was a constant if you went outside. The queen bed was good and firm for me and my partner liked the twin for comfort. It could have been cleaned a bit better. Kitchen and bath need a major overhaul. Kitchen walls with light shining on them, you could see thick dust caked on them near the table and the fan blades. The bathroom had used soap bars left behind with hair in them. That's just gross. I could not find more than 1 plate or bowl to eat out of, even though I inquired specifically for utensils. So I went to the store and bought paper plates. Overall, it was just ok for the price.
