We enjoyed our stay here very much! It was peaceful and we loved the big outdoor space. The bed was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the provided snacks and electric kettle. We would definitely stay again!

What a great place to stay if you just want to get out of the city! It was so nice sitting by the fire outside watching the stars and then in the morning looking at all the deer that showed up for breakfast Thank you Arlette for being so accommodating!

It’s a great little getaway. Close to the city but far enough out to feel secluded. The house was clean and well stocked with what we needed. The host was great and communicated well. There was one issue with a discrepancy in the description. It showed 8 total beds, but there are only four: a king, a queen, and two twins. I don’t believe the host intended to mislead, but it must have had something to do with the way the information was communicated to VRBO.

We loved this hideaway! Very spacious, super clean, well stocked, quiet, safe and private was our experience. Enjoyed looking out the many windows to see dozens of deer calmly grazing and ducks roosting near by. Just 11 minutes from the Brazos River State park which is a must see. Relaxed on the front and back porches. A really nice get away. Would definitely stay here again without question. Sure beats the city traffic, hotel elevators and crowded parking lots. Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and all that it offered. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and a small dog. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our weather was off and on showers but we were prepared for that. Enjoyed Brazos Bend State park with our bicycles. The wildlife is abundant, not only at the park but at the house in both the front yard and back. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to the area. The host is super friendly and very quick to respond to the few questions I had.
