Boxdorf is close to both the city and nature. The house is located in a very quiet and idyllic spot right on the edge of the forest. Nevertheless, it’s only five minutes from the Dresden–Wilder Mann highway exit.
The surrounding area offers plenty of nature playgrounds for children and is perfect for short walks.
Meissen and Radebeul offer many beautiful places to visit. You can easily reach Saxon Switzerland in an hour by S-Bahn. Dresden’s city center is 10 km away and easily accessible by public transportation. Moritzburg (5.5 km away) can be easily explored by bike or on foot from the house. There is plenty of informational material available in the neighborhood. The in-house library has many books about the surrounding area.
The bright kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and kitchen utensils, as well as:
a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, blender, stove and oven, and a dishwasher. There is a serving hatch leading to the living room, where there is also space for dining.
The bathroom has a shower tray, is separate from the toilet, and includes a hair dryer.
There is a second shower in the basement area.
There are 2 separate toilets (first floor and upper floor). A child-sized toilet seat and potty are in the bathroom.
The washing machine is available for a fee. One parking space is available.
There is an ample selection of board games for children and adults.
For children, a changing pad, step stool, 2 high chairs, a toilet seat adapter, books, magazines, games, and toys for all ages are available.
The bicycles in the garage may be used at your own risk.


You can pay for bed linens on-site for €7.50 per person or bring your own. The same applies to towels. You can also rent towels.

Basement room: 2 beds for children or smaller adults (2 m x 0.70) and (1.88 m x 0.77)
All rooms offer a view of the greenery!
The bedrooms are equipped with smoke detectors, a window with fly screens, and roller shades/curtains.
The vacation home features a garden with a small pond (caution: small children!!!)
and a large terrace (3 m x 9 m), one-third of which is covered.
(grill and fire pit available) and seating for at least 10 people.
