Outdoor furniture and a grill invite you to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The property was designed with great attention to detail and offers nature lovers a wonderful place to stay.<br>Table tennis and foosball provide fun and games for our younger guests at any time and in any weather.<br>For days when the weather isn’t cooperating, our guests have access to free fiber-optic internet.<br><br>In this cozy vacation rental, you can look forward to relaxation, a beautiful view of the dike, the Ems River, and the historic mill in Mitling Mark—East Frisia at its finest.<br><br>The “Zur Mühle” vacation home was built in 1994 and has been continuously modernized. <br>On the first floor, the exposed ceiling beams are visible; in addition to the kitchen and guest restroom, you’ll also find the spacious living room and the utility room here.<br>Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds (which can be pushed together to form a large bed), and the shower room.<br>The rooms have a bright and welcoming atmosphere.<br><br>The “Zur Mühle” vacation home is located in Mitling Mark, Westoverledingen, right next to the Marker Mühle mill and the Ems River.<br><br>The Southern East Frisia vacation region is right on your doorstep and offers a wealth of opportunities for those seeking relaxation, active vacationers, and families on vacation.<br><br>The property is situated in an idyllic location at the junction of the Deutsche Fehnroute and Internationale Dollard Route cycling trails. Hop on your bike and explore the charming surroundings. The towns of Weener, Leer, and Papenburg are nearby and perfect for a shopping spree.<br><br>The Southern East Frisia vacation region has a lot to offer. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, shopping, an active vacation, or cultural tourism, there’s a wide range of options for nearly every type of vacation.<br><br><br>Marker Mill<br>The mill in Mitling Mark is a single-story gallery-style Dutch windmill with a tail and louvered sails. The mill features two grinding gears, two husking gears, a crushing roller, double and single sifters, a cleaning machine, and elevators.<br><br>As early as the 16th century, there was a post mill on the Ems dike in Mitling-Mark where grain was ground. The current Dutch-style windmill was built in 1843. In 1928, a diesel engine was installed so that grinding could continue even on days with little wind. In 1945, an electric motor was purchased. The municipality purchased the mill in 1984, and after many years of restoration work, this technical monument was opened to the public in 1990. In addition to the mill, the mill complex includes the miller’s house and a bakehouse. Inside the miller’s house, the “Grandma’s Kitchen” collection evokes times gone by. Over 800 kitchen items, predominantly featuring hand-painted mill motifs on Delft Blue porcelain, can be admired here.<br><br>For several years now, it has also been possible to tie the knot at the mill.
