Cozy vacation home in the Oberschwaben region of Lake Constance—Allgäu

Welcome to the Oberschwaben Vacation Cottage.
Our cottage is located in the heart of Upper Swabia and can accommodate up to five people on the Atzenberg at an elevation of up to 710 meters above sea level.
On the widely known Atzenberger Höhe.
The beautiful landscape offers time to breathe deeply, slow down, and relax, while also providing the opportunity to discover breathtaking natural treasures. Enjoy wonderful walks, hikes, bike rides, or ski tours. Numerous taverns and cafes invite you to linger and refuel. Discover the beauty and diversity of our region. Attractions such as Lake Constance, the Swabian Alps, the Allgäu, Ravensburger Spieleland, Legoland, canoe trips on the Danube, numerous thermal / outdoor pools, the farm museum in Kürnbach or Wolfegg, the Atzenberger Höhe cross-country ski trail, the Bad Saulgau Nature Theme Park, the Federsee/ Museum/Moor & Spa/Celtic Village in Bad Buchau, the Nature Conservation Center/Moor Extrem in Bad Wurzacher Ried, the Upper Swabian Baroque Route, and, of course, the “Swabian Sea” (Lake Constance) with its wide range of recreational activities all within easy reach. Experience the charm of the surrounding towns such as Aulendorf, Bad Waldsee, Bad Saulgau, Bad Schussenried with its Beer Mug Museum, Ravensburg, and Wangen im Allgäu—all located in the Upper Swabian region of castles and palaces, and much more. Enjoy hearty and iconic dishes from the Swabian region.

The cottage is approximately 50 m² and is divided into a living and dining area. The kitchen features a 4-burner stovetop, an oven, a refrigerator and freezer, a kettle, and, of course, dishes for daily use. The cozy sitting area invites you to relax. The corner sofa converts into a bed if needed.
Upstairs, there is a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a reading nook. A baby bed can be added upon request with advance notice. For up to two children, the attic offers a cozy sleeping area measuring 180 x 200 cm; the south-facing balcony is also located there. The outdoor area features a small south-facing terrace with benches, chairs, a table, and lounge chairs—all perfect for relaxing. Additionally, a fire pit offers the ideal spot for barbecuing or enjoying a cozy campfire. The playground is another highlight where children can let off steam; a trampoline, a playhouse, a slide, a swing, and other play options ensure that our little guests have a great time.
Additionally, the beautiful shepherd’s wagon can be booked. It can accommodate up to 4 people; if you have visitors during your stay, they can stay here, though bathroom facilities must be shared with the vacation cottage. More information available upon request / see last photo.
