Tucked away in the forest, this cozy cottage offers quiet mornings, star-filled nights, and a spacious deck perfect for coffee, reading, or simply listening to nature. The drive in feels adventurous (SUV or truck recommended), but once you arrive, the stillness is worth it. Hike to the nearby creek, relax by the fireplace, and let the woods do what they do best—slow you down and reset your spirit.
The primary sleeping area is an open loft overlooking the living space, creating a cozy, cabin-style feel. Downstairs, a charming nook with a trundle bed sits just off the main living area, thoughtfully set apart with a divider for added separation. A fold-out sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping space if needed.

We absolutely would recommend this cabin to friends and family. We are a family of five, our 2 younger daughters and teenage son had a wonderful time. The property owners are wonderful people. We hope to stay again soon!

This cabin offers more than just a place to stay — it offers space to experience.

Set on private wooded acreage, guests can explore nature right outside the door. A seasonal creek runs through the property during wetter months, and nearby forest trails, unique rock formations, and scenic mountain views make this area a hidden gem for outdoor lovers.

The outdoor living space is designed for gathering and fun. Enjoy evenings around the fire pit or fire table under string lights, cook on the premium gas grill, or challenge your group to giant Jenga, yard Yahtzee, cornhole, or oversized Connect 4. Outdoor heaters make cooler nights comfortable, and Wi-Fi is available for those who need to stay connected.

For guests who enjoy exploring beyond the property, the Kiamichi River area offers swimming and recreation, and K-River Campground provides day passes for river access, live music, and family-friendly activities.

Occasionally, and by prior arrangement, we’re happy to share recommendations or point guests toward some of our favorite nearby “forest finds.”
