Five minutes on foot to the Red Line puts all of Greater Boston within easy reach. Ideal for two couples, graduation families, corporate travelers, or anyone who wants a genuine home rather than a hotel room.
ABOUT THIS PROPERTY
The whole home is yours.
When you book this property, you have the entire residence — both suites, all common areas, the kitchen, the outdoor space, and the parking. There are no other guests, no shared hallways, no hotel lobbies. Just a beautifully considered home that happens to be in one of Boston's finest neighborhoods. The home belongs to a working artist and former technology executive who has spent years filling it with original work, thoughtful furnishings, and the kind of considered details that make a space feel genuinely alive. High ceilings and abundant natural light give every room a calm, unhurried quality. It is modern and minimal without being cold — this is a home, not a showroom.
THE SUITES
King Suite — with Private Ensuite Bath A spacious, serene primary bedroom with a king-size bed and its own ensuite bathroom with glass encasee rainshower. Quiet, well-appointed, and designed for genuine rest. Whether you've just flown in for a graduation, finished 26.2 miles, or wrapped a long week of meetings, this is the room you want to come back to.
Full/Queen Suite — with Private Bath A bright, comfortable second bedroom with a full/queen bed and a private bathroom with bathtub steps from the room. Thoughtfully furnished with the same attention to detail as the rest of the home. Equal in quality, different in scale. Both suites are fully private. Two couples traveling together will each have their own bedroom and their own bathroom — no compromises, no awkward sharing.
THE HOME Kitchen A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook properly. For groups staying several nights, this is a significant convenience — and cost saving — over eating out for every meal. Outdoor Space A private outdoor area for morning coffee, evening drinks, or simply decompressing after a day in the city. Outdoor space is rare this close to Boston, and this home has it. Washer & Dryer Available for guests. Essential for longer stays, marathon runners, or anyone who packed light. Parking On-site parking is included. In Davis Square, this is not a small thing — street parking in this neighborhood is competitive, and having a guaranteed spot eliminates an entire category of Boston travel stress. Bike Path Access The home sits directly on the Somerville Community Path, a dedicated cycling and walking trail that runs through the heart of Somerville. Bring a bike, rent one locally, or simply use it for a morning run away from traffic. Original Artwork The walls throughout the home feature original works by the owner. It gives the space a warmth and distinctiveness that no hotel can replicate.
WHY THIS HOME FOR YOUR TRIP Graduation Families Harvard Commencement is a 10-minute T ride. MIT is 15 minutes. The two-suite configuration is purpose-built for the classic graduation trip: parents in the king suite, student or sibling in the second. A full kitchen means a proper family breakfast on the big morning. Parking means no Uber scramble. Book early — Davis Square fills up fast in May. Boston Marathon Davis Square sits right on the Red Line, which runs parallel to much of the course. You can watch at multiple points and get back easily. The washer and dryer are there for post-race gear. The king suite has the bed a runner deserves after 26.2 miles. Minimum stay applies for marathon weekend — book well in advance. FIFA World Cup 2026 Boston is hosting seven World Cup matches between June 13 and July 9, including a quarterfinal. The home is a 35-minute T ride from Gillette Stadium via connecting transit, with parking available if you prefer to drive. For international visitors, having a genuine home base — with a kitchen, laundry, outdoor space, and two private bedrooms — is a far better experience than a hotel room for a multi-week stay. Corporate & Extended Stays The home accommodates two travelers in genuine comfort, with the full amenities of a residence. Fast WiFi, a proper workspace, full kitchen, laundry, and parking make it well-suited to week-long or multi-week visits. Davis Square has excellent coffee shops and restaurants within a short walk for working outside the home.

A NOTE FROM YOUR HOST I built this home around light, art, and the kind of quiet that lets you think. I spent twenty years in technology before stepping away to focus on my work as an artist, and this home reflects that transition — considered, unhurried, and full of things I genuinely love. I make it available to guests because I believe a well-designed home should be experienced, not just owned. I hope it gives you and your travel companions a base that makes your time in Boston feel genuinely special. I'm responsive and easy to reach if anything comes up. Everything you need will be there when you arrive.

I spent twenty years as a technology executive before stepping away in 2018 to do what I'd always meant to do: make art. It was a significant life change — the kind that reshapes everything — and this home in Davis Square became the place where that transformation happened. I'm a working artist now, and this house reflects that. The walls hold original work. The spaces are designed around light, quiet, and the particular kind of calm that creative work requires. I've lived here long enough to know every good coffee shop, every restaurant worth going back to, and every shortcut through the neighborhood. I became a host because I believe a well-made home should be shared. I take hospitality seriously — not in a formal way, but in the way a friend with a great house does. Everything will be ready when you arrive, I'll be easy to reach if anything comes up, and I'll leave you to enjoy the place without hovering.

Davis Square chose me, honestly — I arrived and never had a reason to leave. It has everything a neighborhood should have and almost nothing it shouldn't. Independent restaurants and coffee shops that have been here for decades. A farmers market. Live music at The Burren on a Tuesday night. The kind of bookstore you can lose an afternoon in. And the Red Line, five minutes on foot, which means the rest of Boston — Harvard, MIT, Fenway, downtown — is never more than twenty minutes away. What I love most is that it has genuine character. It hasn't been smoothed out or made generic. The people who live here tend to stay, and that continuity gives the neighborhood a warmth you can feel walking down the street. For visitors, it offers something most Boston accommodations can't: the feeling of actually being somewhere, rather than just near somewhere. The Somerville Community Path runs right past the house — a dedicated walking and cycling trail that connects neighborhoods across the city. On a clear morning, there is nowhere better to start the day.
この宿泊施設の特徴
Most rentals near Boston are apartments carved out of larger buildings, or rooms in someone else's home. This is neither. It's an entire artist's residence — designed, curated, and maintained by someone who cares deeply about how a space feels. Two fully private suites, each with its own bathroom, mean that two couples or a family can stay together without any of the usual compromises. The king suite has an ensuite bath. The second suite has its own private bath steps away. There is a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, a private outdoor space, and on-site parking — a combination that is genuinely rare this close to the city. The ceilings are high. The light is good. The art on the walls is real. And the location — five minutes from the Davis Square Red Line, directly on the bike path, walking distance to some of Boston's best independent restaurants — is as good as it gets in this part of the city. For graduation families, marathon visitors, World Cup travelers, or anyone coming to Boston for something that matters, this home offers something a hotel simply cannot: the feeling of having your own place, in a neighborhood worth being in, with enough space to actually breathe.
