In the charming countryside of Gaucín, Málaga, you will find Los Algarrobos Gaucin holiday home. The property features a living room, 2 well-equipped kitchens with dishwashers, 4 bedrooms (one with a single bed and another with 2 single beds), each with air conditioning, and 4 bathrooms, accommodating up to 8 guests. A cot is available on request. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, washing machine, and TV.



Enjoy a balcony with beautiful mountain views, a private garden with barbecue, and a spacious open terrace with a dining table—perfect for outdoor meals. There is also a covered terrace and a private pool with umbrellas, sofa, and sun loungers, ideal for relaxing under the Gaucín sun. This is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the countryside.



The house is just a 20-minute drive from El Castillo del Águila. You can also take a day trip to Playa Chica, 48 minutes away by car. In San Pablo de Buceite (19 minutes by car) you will find supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, bars, bakeries, and cafés.



Parking is available on the property and on the street. One pet is allowed; for more, please contact us in advance.



There is another apartment on the ground floor where the host occasionally stays. Due to government regulations, the charcoal barbecue is not available in summer, but a gas barbecue will be provided.

This was the second time we had stayed at the property and were joined by friends and family this time. Lovely location, peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The host was on hand, when needed. The pool was most welcome when the temperature ramped up. We would definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful break with fantastic views.

The location, pool and view from the balconies where fantastic!

Pros: The house is spacious and foreseen with everything to have a great time! Gaucin is a lovely small town with every basics you need and to enjoy time as a local.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage !!!

Pros: Es gibt drei abgeschlossene Wohneinheiten. Die größte Wohnung hat zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, ein Dusch- und ein weiteres Wannenbad sowie eine Küche. Die mittlere Wohnung verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und eine Küche. Die kleinste Wohneinheit ist ein Zimmer nebst Bad. Von drei Balkonen bietet sich ein herrlicher Blick auf ein malerisches Tal (je nach Wetter sieht man bis Gibraltar). Der Garten ist schön eingewachsen und gepflegt. Das Zentrum bildet der einladende Pool, um den sich der nette Eigentümer Francisco regelmäßig kümmert. Um das Becken zu erreichen, muss man ein Stückchen um das Haus laufen, was aber nicht dramatisch ist. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft ruhig. Es ist ein Ort um Abzuschalten, seinen Gedanken freien Lauf zu lassen, sich dem stressigen Alltag zu entziehen, Kraft zu tanken und einfach nur die Natur zu genießen. Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Gaucín sowie San Pablo de Buceite (Ruiz Galán). Beide Orte liegen ca. 15 min entfernt. Cons: Es handelt sich um kleine Läden, die nicht über das Sortiment eines großen Supermarktes verfügen (nachmittags Schließzeit von 14-17.30 Uhr). In Gaucín gibt es nette Einkehrmöglichkeiten; weitere im Umkreis haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Da die komplette Umgebung hügelig ist, sollte man sich auf kurvenreiche Straßen mit Steigung und Gefälle einstellen. Es bieten sich häufig sehr schöne Ausblicke/ Aussichtspunkte. Für einen Ausflug zum Strand sollte mindestens eine halbe Stunde Fahrzeit einkalkuliert werden. Absolut lohnenswert ist das naheliegende Ronda mit imposanter Brücke, Stierkampfarena, pittoresker Altstadt, tollen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Gibraltar ist auch nicht weit entfernt, wenngleich ziemlich überlaufen. Aufgrund der abgeschiedenen Lage muss für sämtliche Ausflüge ein entsprechender Zeitaufwand einkalkuliert werden. Nach Cadíz sind wir 4 Stunden (mit Stau) gefahren! Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Urlaub, so dass uns der Abschied wirklich schwer fiel…

Casa en un lugar maravilloso

Pros: La casa está ubicada a las afueras de Gaucin en un lugar tranquilo y con unas vistas espectaculares. Muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Las camas y almohadas muy cómodas. Tanto el salón como dos de las cuatro habitaciones cuentan con unas terrazas con unas vistas que en días claros se ve hasta el mar. Francisco es un anfitrión de diez. En definitiva, volveremos a repetir seguro. Cons: Nada

Wow all round

Pros: The whole experience was amazing from the beautiful house to the pool to the laid back surroundings, and paco our host couldn’t do enough lovely person. Gaucin town is 15 minutes drive away and what a beautiful place this is. Highly recommended however a car os essential which wasn’t a problem for us. Cons: Enjoyed it all

Un séjour enchanteur qui a filé à la vitesse des étoiles !

Nous avons passé deux semaines fantastiques dans cette maison. Notre hôte Paco était très disponible et discret à la fois. La maison est particulièrement agréable et semblable aux photos de l'annonce. Elle est dotée d'une décoration soignée qui conserve le goût de l'authenticité. Malgré les journées chaudes du mois d'août, la température baisse la nuit et c'est un régal de dormir au calme, les larges fenêtres ouvertes, avec cette brise légère qui parcourt la maison. D'où que vous soyez, la vue sur les montagnes est à couper le souffle. Chaque jour des nuées d'aigles ont survolé la maison et la piscine. Particulièrement impressionnant ! Le jardin et la piscine sont très bien entretenus. La piscine est ensoleillée jusqu'à 19h-20h (mois d'août) ce qui permet d'en profiter très largement. Un accès un peu plus direct et facile au jardin et à la piscine serait néanmoins à considérer. Le petit chemin de terre n'est très pratique pour profiter des déjeuners/ dîners sous le grand chêne, mais ceux-ci valent largement l'effort d'organisation (pour éviter les aller-retours inutiles jusqu'à la cuisine). Les nuits sont sublimes et le ciel étoilé tout simplement remarquable. A l'abri de toute pollution lumineuse, nous avons pu profiter de plusieurs étoiles filantes extraordinaires. L'accès en voiture se fait par un chemin de terre cahoteux. Nous avons tout de même pu le pratiquer sans problème avec une toute petite voiture (Fiat 500), mais si vous disposez d'un plus gros modèle, le trajet n'en sera que plus confortable. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, et notamment à tous les amoureux de la nature et de l'authenticité.

Lovely villa

We recently stayed at the villa and had a fantastic time. A group of six, made up of family and friends, including a child - the four bedrooms & four bathrooms worked well for us. One of the rooms was a self-contained annex with its own kitchen area so our friend could be self-sufficient if needed. The location is remote, very peaceful and perfect if you want a relaxing break away. The pool and surrounding area were lovely. We met our host who was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I have never ever stayed in a holiday home as clean as Los Algarrobos. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Works very well for two families.
