The Residenz Strandeck is centrally located in the traffic-calmed town center of the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren on Rügen. The stately 19th-century main building was completely renovated in the late 1990s and expanded with a modern addition in the style of resort architecture.

The Residenz Strandeck is ideal for your vacation on Rügen, as it is only about 150 meters from the fine-sand beach, and the numerous boutiques, restaurants, and small shops of the Baltic Sea resort town of Göhren are also just a few steps away. In the center of Göhren, there are two supermarkets for your daily needs. These are also within easy walking distance.

If you’d like to explore Göhren’s nightlife in the evening, you’ll find plenty of fun at the “Lotsen Bar” in the basement of the Residenz Strandeck. The “Lotse,” as it’s commonly called, is a dance bar (disco) and is popular with vacationers and locals alike. Accordingly, the venue is significantly busier during the summer months than in the early and late seasons. Please note that there may be some noise, particularly from guests arriving and departing.
