Enjoy the view across the fields: the Kleinwindstein vacation home is a small, cozy semi-detached house with a south-southeast-facing terrace and garden.<br><br>Location <br>The house is located on a quiet street with buildings on only one side, on the outskirts of Neukirchen, about 2 km from the Danish border.<br>Shopping options are located about 2 km away in the town center. The nearest swimming spot is about 2 km away: Hölltoft Tief. A good alternative is the Danish Romo Peninsula (about a 50-minute drive). The Emil Nolde Museum, with its beautiful garden and café, is about a 15-minute walk from the accommodation.<br>You can start your trip to the island of Sylt from the nearby train station in Klanxbüll (about 8 km).<br><br>Amenities <br>The 95-square-meter vacation home can accommodate up to six people.<br>On the lower level of the house, there is a small entryway, a large bathroom (including a sauna [fee applies: 3 € per 30 min.], a walk-in shower, and a bathtub), and a spacious living-kitchen area with a dining area, a sofa corner, and a TV.<br><br>The fully equipped kitchen includes not only dishes, pots, and pans but also appliances such as a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a blender, a stove with an oven, a refrigerator with ice compartments, and a dishwasher. A washing machine is also available for your use.<br><br>For an evening together in the spacious sitting area, you’ll find a collection of games in the living room cabinet. <br><br>Kleinwindstein sleeps six, making it ideal for a family vacation, but also perfect for couples looking to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. On the upper floor, the master bedroom features a large 2 × 2 m double bed with a full-length mattress. The larger children’s bedroom has two pull-out beds, each sleeping two people.<br><br>The main ventilation windows downstairs, as well as the skylights upstairs, are equipped with fly screens; there are roller shades on every window.<br>The patio features a seating area with a table and bench, two chairs, and a parasol. Firewood is stored in the garden for free use. There is a bike shelter covered with a tarp for the bikes you bring with you. There you’ll also find a large kettle grill for your use.<br><br>Special features <br>The garden offers space for adults, children, and pets. Dogs are welcome. We’re happy to offer our guests high-speed fiber-optic internet. In addition, you can use a new stereo system and an internet radio to stream your favorite music even while on vacation. A parking space is available on the property. For guests arriving by electric car, the on-site wallbox (50 cents/kWh) is available. <br><br>There are neighbors to the right and left, but the view is unobstructed to the horizon in front and behind. The south-southeast-facing terrace is located on the side of the house away from the street and offers an unobstructed view of nature, including pastures and meadows. A canoe is available in the garden, which guests are welcome to use for a canoe trip on Lake Hülltofter Tief, located about 500 meters away. During bird migration seasons, the birds’ resting spots are often right near the garden, and the sky is dotted with numerous flocks. So for amateur birdwatchers, there’s plenty to observe both right by the house and in the nearby Gotteskoog Nature Reserve.
