Gather up your crew (including up to two canine companions) and head to cozy Coco Cottage to experience all that Oak Island and Caswell Beach have to offer. Walk to numerous bars and restaurants along tree-lined neighborhood streets, or even to the nearest public beach access, which is located only half a mile from your front door! Or rent the optional golf cart (complete with town parking pass) for an additional fee and truly make exploring the island a breeze!

Gather in the living room to watch your favorite evening shows together or plan the next day’s adventures. Sink into the sectional and prop your feet up on the padded ottoman as dogs or little ones play at your feet thanks to plenty of floor space. The adjoining eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook during your stay, and the bar height dining table seats four.

Flowing off the kitchen is the flex room. Furnished with a second, standard height table that also seats four, along with a wall-mounted flat screen TV and a twin day bed with twin trundle bed underneath, this is a convertible space that can act as a second living area or additional sleeping space. A full bathroom is located off this room, equipped with a step-in shower stall along with a stackable washer and dryer.

You’ll find the second full bathroom down the hallway extending off the living room, this one providing a standard tub/shower combo with sliding glass door. All three bedrooms in the home offer a TV for personal entertainment and ceiling fans for comfort. The master suite is furnished with a king bed and provides an attached private half bathroom. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, while the third bedroom has two twin beds.

You’re likely to start each morning outside on the back deck, sipping your morning coffee from the padded outdoor furniture set while kids or fur babies explore the fully fenced backyard. The open deck spends much of the day partially shaded from the surrounding oak tree and the house itself, but a patio umbrella offers additional shade if needed. Cook out on the provided gas grill and dine at the classic wooden picnic table. An enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water is located behind the storage shed for extra privacy.

A small, covered porch on the front of the home also provides comfortable seating with a padded loveseat and cocktail table. The driveaway can easily accommodate four to six vehicles, which may remain parked for most of your stay! Located in the Yaupon Beach section of the island, you can easily walk to popular restaurants including Shagger Jack’s, Swain’s Seafood and Cut and the oceanfront Koko Cabana, as well as nightlife with live music options such as Second Wind and The Lazy Turtle, all within a half a mile or less.

You can venture even further and still keep the sand out of your personal vehicles by including the optional four-seater golf cart at a rate of $400 a week. And if you do want to pile back in the car and explore Southport or Wilmington during your vacation, you’re conveniently located to the G.V. Barbee Bridge when it comes time to venture off the island.
