We had an amazing weekend at Honeycreek Hideaway with our family and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Some of our favorite memories were gathered around the dining room table playing dominoes and games together every evening. During the day, we spent most of our time on the back deck enjoying the view while the kids fished from the shoreline and swam in the lake right from the backyard. Having our WaveRunners tied up behind the house all weekend was incredibly convenient and made getting out on the water quick and easy. After long days on the lake, the hot tub was the perfect way to relax. We also cooked dinner every night, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals for our whole family. The large driveway easily accommodated all of our vehicles and trailers, making parking a breeze. This is the perfect place for families looking to enjoy Grand Lake while making great memories together. We had such a wonderful time that we’re already talking about coming back. If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate-you won’t be disappointed!

Thank you so much for your stay and for taking the time to leave a review! We’re very glad to hear you enjoyed the home overall. We do sincerely apologize that the master bath tub/shower setup was not ideal for your stay. We understand it can be a bit different than a traditional shower, and guest comfort is very important to us. Improving the master bath experience is something we are actively considering for future updates. We truly appreciate the feedback, as it helps us continue making the property even better for future guests. We’d love the opportunity to host you again!

Honeycreek Hideaway is owned by a small group who have loved Grand Lake for decades. Two of the owners have been coming to the lake since high school - fishing, boating, and spending time outdoors - and one owner now lives locally, spending as much time on the water as possible.

Grand Lake has always been a place for slowing down, reconnecting, and enjoying simple moments, and that’s exactly the feeling they hope guests experience during their stay. Hosting allows them to share a space that reflects their long connection to the area — a peaceful retreat designed for comfort, relaxation, and enjoying lake life at your own pace.

Whether you’re here to fish, explore the shoreline, or simply unwind in a quiet setting, they’re glad to share a place that has meant so much to them over the years.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Honeycreek Hideaway sits in a quiet residential pocket along Grand Lake where the pace naturally slows down. The neighborhood is known for calm lake mornings, friendly waves from neighbors, and easy access to the water without the crowds of busy resort areas. One of our favorite parts of being here is how peaceful it feels - early coffee outside, the sound of boats in the distance, and evenings that wind down gently as the sun sets over the lake.

While most restaurants, marinas, and shops are just a short drive away, the area itself is all about relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Guests often spend their days fishing, boating, or exploring nearby shoreline roads, then return to a quieter space to unwind. It’s a setting that feels genuinely connected to Grand Lake - simple, welcoming, and perfect for slowing down.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Honeycreek Hideaway isn’t just another rental - it’s a home shaped by decades of personal connection to Grand Lake. The owners have spent years fishing, boating, and relaxing here, and that experience influenced how the space was designed: comfortable, welcoming, and intentionally calm.

What guests notice most is the balance between location and atmosphere. The home sits in a quiet lakefront setting with easy boat access nearby, yet it feels private and peaceful at the end of the day. Thoughtful touches - from cozy gathering spaces and games for relaxing evenings to a private hot tub and classic clawfoot tub - create an experience that feels more like a personal retreat than a typical vacation stay.

Rather than a crowded resort or party environment, Honeycreek Hideaway is meant for slowing down, reconnecting, and enjoying Grand Lake the way locals do - simple, relaxed, and genuine.
