Restored Farmhouse on the North Fork

1905 North Fork Farmhouse with lots of light and clean lines.

A gourmet kitchen, back deck, BBQ, and large fenced in backyard make it ideal for entertaining, barbecuing, or spending an afternoon lounging in the hammock or by the heated pool.

Use the house as a base to explore the forty nearby vineyards, sample local farm to table restaurants, or shop for antiques in some of the neighboring villages.

Located on over an acre the farmhouse offers privacy, but is conveniently located between Greenport Village, Orient, and the Shelter Island Ferry. The home is both family and pet friendly.

A 5 min. walk to the Hampton Jitney, Sep’s farm stand, or breakfast and lunch spot Angels Market make this the perfect getaway. Summertime stays are from Saturday to Saturday. RP# 0209

Terrific, beautiful property truly in one of the best parts of town and a hidden gem. The host was very responsive, and the affectionate tchotchkes were such good little touches. Highly recommend anybody who’s never been to the North Fork with a big group or even just looking to have a hideaway. This is absolutely the spot. The pool certainly helps.

To start, our family made for a fun experience. The pool and porch were very much as anticipated. We arrived to a clean environment. Contact with hosts was efficient as they were responsive to my inquiries. Landscaping was quite nice. Pool was in an isolated part of the property but quite enjoyable. The honey is a real treat by the hosts.While the negatives below were in themselves minor, they accumulated into a three star rating. 1) water pressure in the showers2) way too many Knick nicks throughout the home, made to feel quite cluttered. 3) no bath towels, plenty of pool towels4) dining room chairs need replacing all were wobbly.5) very little if any instruction/directions on operation of appliances, 6) garbage pick up came on Thursday, four days after we were there, bins were already filled when we first arrived.7) no sign of pool maintenance fo4 our stay especiall6 after major storm on our first day.8) in living room you can hear boiler constantly running to maintain enough hot water.
