Our house is beautifully nestled between our local mountains, the Untersberg and the Staufen Massif, with an unobstructed view of the Fuderheuberg. From the terrace, you can enjoy your dinner or a drink against the backdrop of a stunning sunset panorama. From here, you can set out on all kinds of excursions. Motorcycling, biking, hiking, walking, spa treatments, or skiing in the winter—we offer an excellent starting point. Bad Reichenhall invites you to stroll through the pedestrian zone or the beautiful spa gardens, where you can enjoy a spa concert by the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic. Enjoy a cool drink in one of the lovely beer gardens or treat yourself to culinary delights from the diverse range of dining options. On Fridays, there’s a regional weekly market at the historic town hall square, and at the Alte Saline, you can learn all about the historic salt mining in our area. A wellness day at our Rupertus Therme, featuring a family pool, sauna, and fitness area, is just the thing for chilly days or after a day of skiing or hiking. Enjoy a ride on the Predigtstuhlbahn—the world’s oldest large-capacity gondola—up to the Predigtstuhl, where you’ll be treated to an unparalleled view of the local mountain landscape. Salzburg is only about a 15-minute drive away. Berchtesgaden is also reachable in about 20 minutes. It’s just under 70 km to Lake Chiemsee.... Enjoy wonderful days in every season here in the Berchtesgadener Land region.
The vacation apartment is located in an annex on the first floor and has a separate entrance, so you can access your accommodation at any time without coming into contact with anyone. You enter your apartment through a small hallway with its own coat closet. It consists of a cozy kitchen-living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a view of the mountains. Adjacent to it is a living-bedroom with a double bed and a sleeper sofa. There’s even room here for a cot you bring along. From the living-bedroom, you can step out onto a small, fully covered terrace with an unobstructed and secluded view of the Fuderheuberg. Enjoy the afternoon sun or the sunset over the Staufen massif with a cool drink; for barbecue lovers, we’re also happy to provide a gas grill. The natural-light bathroom is completely new and equipped with a shower, toilet, and washing machine. All rooms have heated floors.
Free Wi-Fi is, of course, included. So you can even get some work done from the comfort of the apartment while still enjoying that vacation vibe. A wired connection is also available, of course.

Our home is located in the heart of beautiful Marzoll, a district of Bad Reichenhall at the foot of the legendary Untersberg and the fairytale-like 16th-century Marzoll Castle. My husband and I have been running the Römer Apartment since 2021. We welcome all our guests personally and are happy to provide tips, advice, and assistance whenever our guests request it. We want you to feel at home with us from the very first moment until the very last.
We’ve lovingly renovated our house and the apartment. It’s important to us that our guests feel at home and comfortable here.
