The Space:

Want to stay in a luxury unit on West Beach in Gulf Shores? Here is your place!



Located on West Beach Blvd., a dead-end road that eliminates traffic, this home at Mustique is decorated wonderfully and has enough space to accommodate your group. This condo complex is located directly on the lagoon and across the street from the beach with a gorgeous view of the Gulf. It has its own private beach access walkway. No high-rise buildings block your view of the beach or the lagoon.



The primary bedroom has a king bed while the second bedroom has two double beds. The third bedroom has two twin beds and the fourth bedroom has a king bed. Each room has a television for your entertainment purposes as well as new furniture! The kitchen is large and fully stocked, giving the group chef plenty of options. There are plenty of spaces to sit at the table and bar. With granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, you will feel at home and in luxury. There is a wet bar, wine cooler & separate ice maker for your convenience.



Walk into the condo and you will be amazed at how large and spacious a condo it is. Straight across is the half bathroom. To the left, you will find bedrooms three and four. Bedroom four has a full-size bathroom with a walk-in shower, a separate garden tub & dual sinks. Bedroom three has a full-size bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms three and four share a balcony that faces the lagoon - enjoy sunrise or sunset over the lagoon.



If you turn right as you walk in, to the left is a large laundry room with a full-size washer & dryer, and then the condo opens up. To your right is the second bedroom with two double beds, a television & full-size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. To the left is a fully stocked kitchen that opens into the dining area and living area with balcony access. The living area has a large television for you to enjoy. Further, across from the living area, on the right, is a large, spacious, primary bedroom suite! The primary bedroom suite has its own balcony access, television, and full-size bathroom with dual sinks, a walk-in shower & separate garden tub.



Take a stroll from the living area or primary bedroom out onto the balcony and enjoy the beautiful sunrise or sunset that Gulf Shores has to offer. This 7th-floor Mustique condo will have memorable sunrise and sunsets for you to enjoy. With an indoor pool, outdoor pool, and hot tub, this unit has everything you need to make this your home away from home.

Fabulous getaway!

Location is excellent. Beach is amazingly clean with a secluded feel. Room was exactly as described, luxurious and roomy. All we could have asked for in a family vacation.

WONDERFUL!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better condo! It has a wonderful view and has plenty of room for big families. For this price you can't get a better place. Thank you for making our vacation wonderful and inexpensive! We will be booking with Laura again : )

Wonderful

Wonderfully spacious condo. Fully stocked kitchen with all the dishes, utensils, cookware, etc that you could need. Bedrooms and baths were clean and livable. There could have been a few more bath towels, wash clothes stocked in the bathrooms but everything else being available outweighed this.

A bunch of friends and I stayed here for a week. It was the most fun week we have ever had. Everything was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone. The location across from the beach was ideal. Thank you so much! Hope to rent from you again soon.

Great condo for fam and friends

The overall stay was great. Pros: - Spacious - View - kitchen utensils and kitchenware - Wine fridge and glassware - Ice machine Cons: - Gym code listed incorrectly - update it online - Hardfloors need good cleaning and mopping - List what you don’t provide - we had only 2 trash bags, 3 cascade tablets for dishwasher, no cleenex, 2 pouches for laundry, one paper towel. - baseboards were filthy

Great Family Time!

Overall we had a wonderful time! The condo was large and spacious. Every bedroom having an ensuite bathroom was perfect! Made it easy for all of us to get ready at the same time. We loved the area. Low key and away from the hustle of the compact high-rise area. The only thing that would make things a little easier would be a keypad on the door to the unit instead of a lock box. The lock box only contained one key, and we had 7 adults in our party. The door automatically locked every time it closed so we had to leave the key in the lock box and take it out each time we needed to enter the unit. Sometimes hard to do with full hands. And if someone forgot to put the key back in the box then there was no way to get in. That is our only negative. We'll definitely come back to Mustique!

Fabulous in winter!

We rented this condo over Christmas vacation and had a wonderful time. There was a heated pool we used occasionally but the weather was nice enough for many outdoor events, even swimming in the Gulf! The condo was spacious and beautiful with plenty of room for all 9 of us including grandchildren. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped - important to us since we are all about gulf coast food. Lots to do in the area including shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend Laura's Vacation Rentals and this condo.

Luxurious, Plenty of Room, and Wonderful View

I lived the lay out of the condo, as well as the double balconies with the view of the ocean and bay. The condo was equipped with all your household essentials. I love that we have private access to the beach which makes the beach area less congested and more enjoyable. This condo was our favorite condo of all times and will stay here for the years to come.

Perfect Getaway!

Our stay was wonderful! The condo was clean, spacious, and very convenient to the beach. The beach area is realtively quiet compared to other areas with more high rises around. It very comfortably accommodated 8 adults with gorgeous views in all directions. A lot of time was spent on the big balcony overlooking the Gulf. The rates are great and the additional grocery service is so nice! We all wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time! Thanks Laura!!!!!

Great Value - the place is HUGE!

Normally, I do not write reviews, but this place was just great. It is HUGE and does offer LUXURY! It is also a great value for the money. My sister and her family stayed at a different condo closer to downtown. It was a shoebox compared to this condo, and the Mustique condo was much better priced, too. As a FYI, Mustique is the last high rise away from downtown at the Gulf Shores, but I personally liked that fact, since the beach was much less crowded. In short, I highly recommend this property!

Fantastic vacation

Extremely easy, staff very helpful. No problems with property manager. Great experience. The only draw back is that the floors and carpets need to be cleaned better. Also, the iron needs to be updated. Other than that, top billing all the way.

Awesome condo very spacious!

We usually stay in a house but this was great. I loved it and so did my kids. The views from the front and back were awesome and the view over the stove was gorgeous also. Rooms were very big and I loved the fact that there were two set last of beds in two rooms it was perfect for our family of 6. Tubs and showers were nice also. Only reason I ga e it 4 stars was because the condos next door have a pool that caused the noise to carry to the front balcony but otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Perfect family birthday celebration

Condo was huge for 6 people. Kitchen very well-equipped. Furniture very nice. Master suite gigantic and private. Very quiet location. Trouble with one a-c unit but repairman sent within an hour to fix it (9:30 p.m.). Pool lovely. Views from 7th floor very good. Easy private walkway to beach. One caveat:only 2 parking passes.

I spent the whole month o...

I spent the whole month of November at Mustique #702. What a month. We invited my whole family for Thanksgiving and we enjoyed cooking in the large and well appointed kitchen. I love having the best of both the bay side and the ocean side and both are only steps away. A very comfortable unit and well furnished!!! I'll be back.

Property is very nice. Key lock door definitely needs upgrading. One key for a house full of people. Definitely needs a key pad entry or something equitable. I also left a message for local management to call me back about an issue, I never received a call.

Wonderful!

We had a great family vacation this week staying at Mustique 702. There were nine of us.....5 adults and 4 children from ages 3-9. So much room! No one ever felt cramped or like we were on top of each other. I have always stayed directly on the beach but didn't feel slighted one bit being across the street. The view was was still spectacular. Sat on the balcony each night listening to the waves! Total relaxation! I highly recommend this condo. Very nice person I worked with when my credit card wouldn't work. She was so helpful and sweet! Awesome stay!!!

Covid relief vacation

The condo was very spacious. Large bedrooms, large bathrooms, and large kitchen. It was a short distance to the beach on a newly renovated ramp onto the beach with showers to wash the sand off prior to returning My only complaint is the too few number of grills. This condo has 44 units and only 2 grills. Some nights we were unable to use a grill and others we had to wait an hour or two. I would suggest putting more grills in.

Love the Mustique but this place could b cleaner!

You can’t beat the location! We’ve stayed at this resort several times- But first time in this particular room. The dishes weren’t clean, mold was on master bedroom shower, mold around kitchen sink, and kitchen utensils had to be cleaned before we used them- The refrigerator took 24 hours to chill, very frustrating when u have a ton of groceries- but it ended up being fine the next day. The layout of the rooms were great, the bed sizes were perfect fr our family. Overall, a great condo but cleanliness could b better!

Absolutely wonderful!!!! Drove from Bloomington, Il for some sun and sand.

This condo was exactly as it was pictured. This is our 2nd stay in this condo building. Perfect location. I was nervous about using VRBO at 1st but everything went smooth. Laura's Vacation Rentals was great, always responding quickly to questions and great communication. We had 2 family's stay (10 people). Plenty of room, large kitchen. We used pool, weight room, grill, & hot tub. Just far enough away from busy downtown. Recommend Lulu's & Sea & suds to eat. Golfed at Craft farms, shopped at Tangier outlet mall, took dolphin tour. Beach was just across the street. I prefer the condo view to having house on beach. Highly recommend this condo. Only con was they need to update patio furniture. We will definatly go back.

Great after initial start

Property was great just as we expected. We have stayed at Mystique over the last 10 years and plan to go back. The people we usually rented from no long rent their property so we used another source. It appears the rental agency, Vacasa was not overly familiar with the property and could not answer some basic questions. They weren't familiar with the parking pass procedure. We were supposed to have two passes in the condo and only one was visible. So we called the rental agency who had to call owner. For some reason the second pass was in the cabinet above the micro wave. Also the code to the beach gate listed in the room was not correct. We got out to the beach because another guests held the gate for us. When coming back we noted the code would not work and the condo security guard (Ray) came and would not tell us the new code. He said he was not allowed and we would have to call rental agency. We were actually "held hostage" at the gate because he would not let us through! A sympathetic guest behind us told us the correct code (which Ray told her not to!). Anyway we love Mystique and will stay next yr. Maybe a different rental company. We didn't see Ray the last few days so don't know what happened to him.

Beautiful, but could be so much better!

The condo was beautiful! It was the nicest condo we’ve ever visited in regards to the space, the open floor concept, and the views. However, there a few things that could be corrected. There was excess mold and mildew in all the stand in showers. I understand mold and mildew will be present in any area with moisture, but it was excessive. The pillows are extremely flat and uncomfortable. All of the guests on our trip expressed discomfort in the pillows and some form of body ache from sleeping on them. We even contemplated buying pillows from Walmart. There was also a miscommunication with the beach gate code. The app gave us one code and an email gave us another. Once we arrived at the beach, I entered the incorrect code and couldn’t get in. I contacted Vacasa to verify the code and they confirmed the incorrect code. They also couldn’t get in contact with anyone to let us in. We were stuck at the gate with the sun at its highest and hottest with two toddlers (a 1 year old and a 3 year old) complaining about the sun beating on them, two wagons full of beach items, and beach bags. I didn’t think to check one of the many emails I received for a different code because I assumed all the information in all the communications I received regarding my trip was the same. Fortunately, a guest of the condominium came across the street to let us in and provided us with the correct code. Lastly, there was a lot of loose human hair all over the condo (the equivalent of hair that you would find from a dog that sheds). Literally everywhere (the tile floors, in the carpet, in and on the beds, on the area rug, on the couch pillows, on the towels; everywhere). I stopped my children from wearing their socks around the condo and made them wear their sandals because their socks would become covered with hair. I understand hair sheds, but when it’s literally all over the condo, it’s quite annoying. I booked through VRBO and the property is managed by Vacasa. I received multiple emails from VRBO, multiple emails from Vacasa, updates from the apps, and multiple text messages from Vacasa containing information about our trip. That is how information got miscommunicated (i.e., the wrong gate code for the beach). I recommend that there be one streamlined process of communication. If booking via VRBO, VRBO should communicate all the information of the trip on behalf of Vacasa. If booking via Vacasa, all information should come via Vacasa.
