Sunshine Day is located in the 4x4 area of Corolla just 3 miles from the paved roads. This thoughtfully appointed 4-bedroom home offers a peaceful and memorable Outer Banks getaway. Designed with comfort in mind, the home features three queen bedrooms, one of which is an ensuite and one king ensuite bedroom, providing ample space for restful nights after a day at the beach.

Guests will enjoy three full bathrooms, each equipped with a shower and hair dryer for added convenience. The cozy living room includes a futon, offering additional space to relax, gather for movie nights, or simply unwind.

One of the most unique aspects of this location is the opportunity to see Corolla’s famous wild horses, which may occasionally pass through the area. For your safety and theirs, please maintain a safe distance and do not feed the horses.

Whether you're seeking adventure on the beach, peaceful surroundings, or quality time with family and friends, this welcoming home provides the perfect retreat. Come kick back, relax, and experience everything Corolla and this enchanting coastal getaway have to offer.

My family and I had such a great stay at this home in the 4x4 section of Corolla. The house was roomy and the decks were a great place to relax. We enjoyed both walking and driving onto the beach. Seeing the wild horses was amazing too! The hosts were super friendly and communicated very efficiently. We highly recommend this property when visiting OBX.

This home location is perfect. Close enough to the beach to see the ocean and hear the waves - only 3 rows back a short 5-10 minute walk. Beautiful views of the ocean, sunrise, and sunsets! We loved that it was nestled back amongst the groves offering privacy and respite for the wild horses that visit the property frequently.The home’s layout is perfect for a family or several couples. The l layout makes it feel very large with lots of natural light and beautiful views. The house was equipped with everything we needed including towels and lines which is something very few houses in the area offer these days. Only 3 miles from the main entrance it is also conveniently located to everything on the main part of the island. We cannot wait to return!

We apologize for the towels, unfortunately I’m only aware of this situation because you wrote it in a review. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this four bedroom home in the 4x4 area of Corolla, OBX. Our host was a great communicator and very responsive. The house was well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. The views from the top porch were incredible and we had wild horses visit several times. We would definitely stay here again. We had an SUV and had no trouble driving on the sand and it was very convenient to be able to drive to the beach and park there for the day. The front of the home is well protected by large vegetation which limited our viewing of the many wild horse tour vehicles that went by each day. The home is within walking distance of the beach.
