Charging an electric car or a hybrid car at this site is NOT ALLOWED, as the ground heat engine at the site may be damaged if there is an electrical overload.

53 km to the south from Rovaniemi, lake Särkikämä 25 m (length 4 km, width 2 km), shallow beach, hard sanded bottom, large pier, own rowing boat and electric outboard motor.

Log cabin, built in 2020. Living room, kitchenette and dining area, 3 bedrooms, all with 2 beds, washroom/WC and large covered terrace.

Lakeside sauna (32 m²) with steam room, washroom (2 showers) and dressing room. Kitchenette with kitchen sink, fridge, hotplates and coffee maker in the dressing room. There is also a covered porch (30 m²) with fireplace and hot tub and open terrace at the lakeside sauna. Please order the hot tub for extra fee from the owner latest 3 days before arrival. The owner will guide you in using the hot tub and will charge a usage fee on site (1-3 days € 150 and 4-7 days € 200 in 2025). The hot tub is oil heated and automated. The thermostat keeps the water evenly warm.

Die Lage war traumhaft. Allerdings wurde nur oberflächlich sauber gemacht. Sobald man die Schubladen oder den Backofen auf macht war der Dreck von längerer Zeit zu sehen. Auch die Bettwäsche war kaputt. Nachdem wir dies dem Vermieter mitteilten, haben wir leider keinerlei Rückmeldung mehr erhalten.Dafür war der Preis zu hoch.Schade, da dieses Haus Potenzial hat!

Das Haus liegt direkt am See. Wir konnten den problemlos zu Fuss über überqueren da er gefroren war. Sehr erholsame Gegend. Die Sauna war ein Pluspunkt. Die Bettwäsche war schon sehr gebraucht, wäre Zeit für neue Bettwäsche. Das Badezimmer hatte in der Toilette gelbe Ablagerungen liegt wohl am Manganabwasser. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich trotz der Sprachdifferenzen konnte wir uns verständigen. Wir würden an diesem Ort wieder Urlaub machen.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Zum Ferienhaus sind wir vom Bahnhof Rovaniemi ca. 45 Minuten mit dem Auto gefahren. Das Haus ist liebevoll mit allem eingerichtet was man braucht und vermittelt eine tolle Gemütlichkeit wenn draußen alles weiß schimmert.

Warm and amazing family home!

The house is exactly as described. Was travelling wit lh my young family and my baby son loved it with all the space to run around. The sauna and hot tub is to die for. They are always on and ready and warm, whenever you need it just jump in, no waiting around for it to warm up. It was a little nice getaway vwry scenic and quite area and very private. I have nothing bad to say about the property except good things. Overall a 10/10.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful the location is breathtaking. The cabin has everything you could need our children and ourselves loved sledging on the hill at the side of the property. It’s definitely worth booking the hot tub as it was lovely to use in the evening. The owner and the host were both amazing! Great communication and very helpful even helped us on the first night when on the way to the property we slid slightly into a snow bank and got stuck. They got a tractor to pull us out! Due to the location it perfect to see the northern lights. I would love to return one day

Geweldig vakantiehuis

Het huis ligt in een prachtige rustige bosrijke omgeving aan een groot meer . Rovaniemi ligt op een kleine 50 km. Er zijn geen winkels in de buurt Het huis heeft allerlei faciliteiten; barbecue , luxe keuken , openhaard , hottub en sauna . Wij hebben er een geweldige tijd gehad . Bij vragen was er een goede communicatie per mail met eigenaar . Het huis is een echte aanrader !
