The house was lovely and comfortably accommodated our group. Its location on the river was a major highlight, and we enjoyed our stay overall. A few comfort details and amenities didn’t quite match our expectations for the price - we would have expected higher-quality linens and having coffee available would have been nice. They did have an assortment of outdoor amenities (fishing poles, sleds and other items) but being there during the shoulder season, we weren't able to use any of it. Overall we had a good time with our group and the home itself was pleasant and may be a good fit depending on what you prioritize.

The house, location and amenities were excellent. The location on the Payette River is very scenic, peaceful and surrounded by majestic pine trees. The kitchen was well equipped and there were extras such as kayaks, snowshoes, reclining lawn chairs, coolers, etc. The reclining lawn chairs were great for star gazing. The management company timely responded to all inquiries. It would have been a five-star experience in all aspects except for the panoramic view of the river being substantially obscured by tall native grass and bushes when sitting on the patio.

Perfect River Edge Retreat We hit the jackpot when we found this fabulous property for our family reunion. The location was fantastic and we were right on the Payette river. Picture yourself sitting in those Adirondack chairs watching eagles soar,, a family of little diving ducks cruise by and beautiful grazing deer. Heaven. All the amenities are just as described. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit, preheated spa, BBQ, comfy furniture, great kitchen and the nice long dining table for our meals. Great communication with the hosts. We reached out to them when we discovered that the BBQ propane tank was defective and the local team had a replacement for us within the hour. Can't say enough good things about this great place. . Heaven on Earth. Highly recommend.

Pictures do not do this cabin justice. The views of the river are so beautiful. Since we had small kids it was very reassuring that the river was not very deep. We arrived to the cabin being pristine and the hot tub hot! Everything was as described and it was obvious the cabin was very well kept. The kitchen was well stocked and there was excellent communication with host to ensure our stay went well. Loved the layout of the cabin. Everything was in working order, my first experience at any property we have rented. Nothing disappointed, we will stay here again and really do not feel any rental could beat this property. So calming, fun and relaxing!

Wonderful family stay

Beautiful home in the middle of the city with a location that makes you feel like there are no neighbors. Home is directly on the river. The kids spent hours playing in the snow on the river bank and in the river. The home is perfectly equipped for a large family gathering. Will rent again and again …

The cabin was just as advertised. Not fancy, but very comfortable. The setting and view from the patio was wonderful - the beds were comfortable - the kitchen fairly well kitted out and easy to work around with several people. The host was very attentive when we commented about the hot tub cleanliness, and we had a "pool guy" the next day doing a complete service. Several of the jets don't seem to work, but it still was a wonderful experience sitting in the hot tub watching the osprey hunt!

Home was great - the hot tub and river in the back yard was just perfect. We found that the towels were very thin, not enough paper products and only one packet for the dishwasher.

Gorgeous house and location

Overall it was fabulous. Beautiful house, amazing location. Roomy, great layout. Loss of star issues, on arrival hot tub was non-functional and not clean, fixed next day, so 1 night of stay not as promised. Very limited dishwasher tablets, paper towels and garbage bags (we had to buy more for our stay). Fantastic house, local management not so great.

Tranquility and Peaceful. Perfectly located near downtown McCall, and with in walking distance to restaurants. Home was very clean and didn’t smell old or used from the previous renters. Primary bedroom downstairs has a very comfortable bed, and my husband’s bad back enjoyed it. Pantry has basic spices, but no cooking oils besides a jar of coconut oil. The washer and dryer appeared almost brand new. We used up all the tide pods and wish I had brought some. The best part of the property is the privacy from the back deck/yard. Lots of deer and birds to watch. Our kids wanted to live in that house. Five-Stars!

Weekend in McCall

The property is beautiful and looks even better than the pictures. The house is well furnished including great cooking supplies, great outdoor equipment, nice bedding and plenty of cozy blankets. Our only complaint was the group before us was apparently “rough on the hot tub.” There was vomit next to the hot tub and they had to drain and refill. Although we appreciated the cleaning, the heater did not reset so our arrival after a long day on the slopes was met with a “hot tub,” that was a balmy 46’. The owner didn’t message us back and during the 45 minutes it took us to get through the Live Chat with VRBO, we figured out how to reset it and get it warming up. That however took about 12 hours to warm so no hot-tubbing that night. Otherwise, we had no issues and all went well.

This is a special vacation place since the back of the house looks out at a forested hill with Payette River running across the perimeter. We watched a beaver build a dam on the river behind us. The house is spacious: designed and appointed for comfort and pleasure. Great kitchen too! I want to return!

- Beautiful location, literally steps from the Payette River!- Very clean and comfortable home, large enough where people can spread out if needed. (We had 6 adults in our party.)- Kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking needs.- BBQ grill works great, plenty of propane.- Hot tub water was a bit cloudy, but functioned perfectly. - Fly fishing was good - caught a couple of Northern Pikeminnows on the river. - Back deck fire pit was fun, we enjoyed making s’mores. (We brought our own wood, but there was some kindling and logs probably left from the previous visitors.)- Host was very pleasant and readily available if we had any needs. Tip: Don’t forget to bring your own beach towels. This is our second time here and we love it. Summer season rates are a bit high, but we splurged to celebrate our daughter graduating from college.Thank you!
