Come cruise into the Carolina Cottage, a 1933 gem with a renovated interior & a spacious deck to unwind. The interior blends modern comforts with unique antiques, featuring pictures detailing Mocksville's rich history (you'll learn something new in each room). Centrally located just off Main Street in downtown Mocksville, this cottage is one of the closest residences to downtown amenities, such as restaurants, shopping, & pubs. Feel free to enjoy free Wifi, Roku TV, books, board games, & coffee.
Every room in the cottage showcases unique antiques and/or historic pictures of Mocksville/Davie County. Descriptions are available for the majority of the pictures, offering insights into their historical significance.
The cottage has one main-level bedroom and two upstairs bedrooms. There is one bathroom on each floor, stainless steel appliances, a spacious living room, and a washer/dryer for your convenience. Towels and linens are provided for your comfort.
The living room and bedrooms are equipped with Smart TVs with Netflix or any other streaming apps available for use (you must use your own sign-in credentials). The upstairs bedroom includes a desk set up for your home-office needs.
Each bedroom is complete with a queen size bed and Smart TV. There is a couch in the living room and air mattresses available for additional guests.
Each bathroom is stocked with towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and makeup mirror.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need for a weekend getaway or month-long stay - stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig, and more.
During the day, take advantage of charming and historic downtown Mocksville. There are excellent restaurants, shops, and bars/pubs. Other nearby towns/cities + attractions include:

Guest access
Please feel free to use the shared driveway with the cabin located next door (which we also own), but kindly park close to the cottage as there may be guests staying at the cabin. Additionally, you are welcome to use the parking lot situated to the right of the cottage for any excess parking needs. You'll have access to the entire cottage property.
Other things to note
There is a camera on the side door of the cottage for the safety and security of our cabin. The camera records both video and audio and is occasionally monitored to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. The camera is pointing outwards, and will only record motion and audio directly outside the door. Please don't tamper with the camera.
No smoking and no pets inside the cottage.
The entire cottage, including all high-touch surfaces, are cleaned and sanitized and all linens and towels are laundered between each guest. If you need to wash linens or towels, feel free to use the washer/dryer and detergent pods provided.
Unfortunately, the 1968 Carolina Blue Volkswagen Bug does not come with the booking but you may see us driving it around town!
