An exceptional high desert retreat awaits at this three-bedroom home in Flagstaff, a polished and spacious property that's at once both modern and inviting. Scenically tucked into the pines, this home will place you within walking distance of Ponderosa Trails Park and a few minutes' drive from the heart of Flagstaff.

As you enter this three-level home, you'll be greeted by ample natural light and a living room with two-story ceilings, a flatscreen TV, and a gas-powered fireplace to keep you cozy in the evenings. Just around the corner are a dining area and a fully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including a gas stove and a dishwasher) and a casual eat-in space with a breakfast bar and a high-top table. Right out back, there's a large deck overlooking the pines with a gas grill and an outdoor table for summer barbecues.

The rest of the home is full of quiet spots to escape to. There's a den on the ground floor with another gas fireplace, a second flatscreen TV, a minifridge for your favorite drinks and snacks, and doors that lead outside to another deck. Upstairs on the third floor, you'll find an office with a desk if you need to finish a bit of work from home. The primary bedroom - one of two bedrooms on the top floor - has its own sitting area with a TV and an L-shaped sofa, not to mention an en suite bathroom and a walk-in closet. The third bedroom is downstairs on the ground floor. Additional amenities include an enclosed yard for your dogs, a private washer/dryer, and free high-speed WiFi.

overall it was a beautiful property! Lots of space! Clean, the master bedroom was very comfortable having a sitting room attached. We only used the master bedroom and closed the rest of the bedroom doors. Our dogs loved the outside area, full tall fence with a gate that leads to the walking path.

Spacious and great location

I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is close by many grocery stores and the downtown area. We enjoyed sledding in the near by park area as well!

Beautiful home, beautiful location

The house is spacious, very clean, and absolutely beautiful. The location is wonderful, quiet and peaceful but not very far from food, stores, etc. I can’t say enough great things. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Fantastic House for a large family

The cul-de-sac end lot made for a secluded, peaceful location. With 2 deck areas there is lots of space for enjoying the beautiful weather and outside environment. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Flagstaff home

This house was the perfect home base for our Arizona adventures. It was super convenient to Williams, Grand Canyon, and Sedona. The house was beautiful and stocked with all the basics we needed and then some! They even had sleds in the garage and a snow shovel that came in handy during wintery conditions. Our kids loved sledding down the hill next to the house. Would definitely recommend.

Great location

Wonderful home. The location is close to grocery stores, restaurants and downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and has great walking trails. Sandy Canyon trailhead is a short drive right off Lake Mary road. The kitchen is fully stocked, very comfortable beds. Ours dogs loved the large backyard. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Mini Vacay

This home exceeded our expectations. Very spacious 3 story home. Clean. Beds were comfortable. Home has some beautiful upgrades especially the bathrooms. It is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood that felt like you were secluded but so close to all the shops/restaurants etc. The balcony views were so peaceful. Hiking/walking trails literally behind the property. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.It’s a beautiful home and we were so happy they allowed our 2 dogs to join us. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay

The house was perfect. The teenagers loved being able to hang out in the basement. Hanging out in the evenings and the mornings on the deck was awesome. The location was close to downtown but far enough away. Not even dings against the house just more so wanting to let the owners know - there’s a slow drain in the guest bath on the second floor and the dining room lighting could be a bit brighter. It made it difficult to play cards in the evening when you couldn’t see your cards. If travels bring us back to Flagstaff will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Family vacation

Beautiful house, well stocked and liked that all of the light switches were marked. However, the internet was spotty and we couldn't get the TV to work. Also, the thermostat in the basement didn't work and it got cold down there at night.

Dream house

We loved the house, even our dog was in heaven, he really enjoyed the green grass by the park. The house in general is really nice, very clean and the natural light is perfect. The only bad thing is that we received the wrong code to get in the house and it took us a while to get in contact with the rental property, we even had to call VRBO, it was getting dark and we were not getting answers from Vacasa, the rental place.

Check in was supposed to be at 4 we had to wait outside until 4:30 because the homeowners were there doing a last minute rushed cleaning job. Upon entering the home the floors were covered, sopping wet & sticky. The whole place reeked of cleaning supplies - we had to open all the windows to remove the smell. Dog hair covered the couches & rugs. Multiple windows throughout the home were missing blinds. False advertisement online the fireplace is only for display. We couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work. I would have overlooked all of this but we had to leave not even 24 hours into our 4 day stay because a Vacasa worker entered our residence without our knowledge or consent. No call/text, email, not even a ring or knock on the door. He entered through the garage & when we confronted him about it he was very rude & dismissive. We felt unsafe & that this was a violation of privacy. I got no help over the phone & had to drive 3 hours to the main Vacasa location in Scottsdale to explain the situation. Greg the GM of the Scottsdale location was very helpful & relayed this information to Taji the GM in Flagstaff. Taji was very kind & able to assist me in getting a full refund from Vacasa. I’ve had to reach out to Vrbo multiple times about this & am still waiting on a refund on their end.

Great Home for 3 Couples

We were a group of three senior couples and Whispering Pines met our needs for our mid-October week’s stay. The downstairs was a great space, but no apparent way to control the temperature. OK for sleeping at night, but not really usable for gathering or game playing in the evening. We would have appreciated more traditional network and cable TV programming. Better instructions on both temperature control and TV operation may have helped. Overall, the spaces were nicely furnished and had a well equipped kitchen. We would consider returning if our plans called for similar needs in that location. Well done Whispering Pines!

Great Property (Trouble getting in the house)

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The house is great and had everything we needed. We definitely would stay here again. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Great outdoor seating and accessible walking path. The only issues we had: The code to unlock the front door was incorrect and it was difficult to get in touch with someone to help. I had to dig through my MANY emails to find the garage code. We ended up just coming in and out of the garage when leaving the house. Also, the Wi-Fi information was incorrect as well. Two of us had work meetings and had to dig around to find the Wi-Fi name and password. Other than that, great stay. Loved the beautiful home.

They Dont Care

Automated responses to every issue and zero solutions. You are on your own. "The Local Team will contact you tomorrow" but they wont. I had 3 feet of snow I had to shovel out the icy hill driveway to get my car in when I arrived. Street parking is not allowed. I shoveled the decks which were covered in dog feces. The corners of rooms and under the furniture were covered in dust. I was extremely dissatisfied, made my dissatisfaction clear and got no response or recourse.
