Hidden among the pines in beautiful Island Park, Winterfell Cabin offers the perfect mountain retreat with modern comfort, peaceful surroundings, and frequent wildlife sightings. Located about 16 miles from the main highway, the final 1.5 miles are on a flat unpaved road, so an adequate vehicle is encouraged. Enjoy easy access to adventure while still escaping the crowds. The cabin is just 53 minutes from West Yellowstone.
Come for the adventure. Stay for the stillness.

The house was beautiful and everyone had their own little spaces. Clean and stocked with everything a family could need. Games, movies and shuffleboard for the kids. Well stocked kitchen, fireplace, comfy beds and hot tub! The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Even suggested fishing spots to take the kids. Was a perfect and relaxing home base for my family of 5 (plus our dog) after exploring each day. If we are ever back in the area, will definitely be staying here again!!

Our stay at the Winterfell cabin in Island Park was amazing. Everyone loved having their own space after driving in such close proximity in the car. We had everything we needed to make meals in the evening and food prep before we left for Yellowstone during the day. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after our long days at the park. The whole cabin is decorated so nicely, you could tell a lot of time and care was put into everything to make a visitor feel welcome. There is a new washer and dryer and it was nice that you were able to do a couple loads of washing to have clean clothes for the rest of the trip. Thank you for our stay Shantay! We loved everything about it! We hope to come again soon!

Loved the Winterfell cabin! We stayed here and it was 52 minutes to gates of West Yellowstone. The cabin was adorable, very clean and well stocked with basic supplies and added extras. I wish we stayed more than 2 nights bc it was so wonderful. We moved on to Tetons but I will never forget how wonderful this charming cabin was. I am a germ freak and felt so at peace here as it was very clean. Plenty of space and lots of TVs throughout. Dog friendly which is greatly appreciated. Thank you to the host for a lovely stay!!!
