Three upstairs bedrooms sleep 8, including a bunk room and pull out sofa in the primary. Renovated while keeping cozy cabin charm, perfect for a family getaway.

All three bedrooms are upstairs. The oversized master bedroom features a very comfortable pull-out sofa bed at the other end of the room. Bedroom 3 has a twin-over-full bunk bed (top bunk max 165 lbs). One bathroom is upstairs and one downstairs.

The home includes a fully stocked kitchen, board games, books, and Wi-Fi. Outside, enjoy the waterfront, large backyard, fire pit (with permit), outdoor furniture, BBQ grill, kayaks, fishing off the dock, and wade-in swimming area. The driveway accommodates up to 4 cars.

Please Note: there is no air conditioning. All bedrooms have fans, and windows can be opened to enjoy Michigan’s cool evenings.

Guests have access to the whole house besides the garage.

Our home is located in the peaceful Crescent Lake area of Waterford, Michigan, a beautiful lake community known for its scenic waterfront views and relaxed vibe. Spend your days fishing, kayaking, or swimming right in the neighborhood, or explore nearby lakes for more water adventures.

Waterford offers plenty of outdoor recreation, including parks, hiking and biking trails, and family-friendly spots like Pontiac Lake Recreation Area and Waterford Oaks County Park. You’ll also find local shops, restaurants, and markets just a short drive away, while downtown Detroit is about 45 minutes for day trips or airport access. Whether you want outdoor fun, quiet lake views, or easy access to local amenities, this area has it all.

Waterford is easy to navigate by car, Uber or Lyft with most grocery stores, restaurants, and attractions just a few minutes away. The home is about 45 minutes from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), making travel convenient. While the area is primarily residential and car-dependent, nearby lakes, parks, and trails are all within a short drive. Plenty of driveway parking is available for up to four vehicles.

*There is a small fire pit in the backyard for your use at your own risk. Waterford requires a “campfire permit” for any backyard fire. You can apply at waterfordmi.firepermits. If you choose not to get a permit, you are responsible for any fines.

*There is no air conditioning. In the summer, open the windows in the evening to enjoy cool lake breezes. Fans in the rooms help circulate air. To keep the house comfortable during hot hours, we recommend keeping windows closed and blinds down when the sun is shining directly into the house.
We fully align with Airbnb’s party ban. No parties with amplified sound are allowed. Most neighbors are full-time residents, so please respect their property and privacy.
