Make yourself at home in this beautiful 2-bedroom Old Town Lansing loft built in the 1890s. Originally built as a boarding house, Skyline features tin ceilings, exposed brick, hardwood floors and trim, and original doors (check out the unique, ornate hinges.)
The space features a king bed in the primary and 2 cozy twin beds in the twinsie room. The bedrooms are separated with historic French doors that do not offer much sound proofing.
We offer a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, Smeg refrigerator, coffee maker, French press and more. There is no dishwashing machine, so that job will fall to you.
Enjoy your morning tea or coffee in the adjacent dining space surrounded by mature house plants. Or take it outside to the small, shared patio that faces the fantastic back alley murals.
Skyline Loft has a big ol' desk in the unofficial office, in case you need to do some serious work while staying with us.
Please note that this is a secondary floor loft and requires the ability to walk up a flight of stairs.
We are located above a retail store open from 10-8pm and the surrounding city is cacophony of sounds. You will find a sound machine in each bedroom.
The space has been curated for adults. It is not outfitted and does not have child appropriate safety features for infants and/or children. Children under the age of 12 need prior approval. This is a firm rule.
We have a TV in the primary bedroom and another in the sitting room.
Located in the heart of Lansing's Old Town, Skyline is within walking distance to a handful of restaurants and cutesie stores. Venture across the street to visit the Brenke Fish Ladder and hop on the River Trail for a walk along the Grand River.
