Great location, basic accommodation

The place had minimal accommodations, it is outdated and part of a motel. They asked us if we wanted the unit cleaned every day. It is pretty small but was able to accommodate my family of 3 adults correctly. Location very convenient.

Stay in Canmore

Overall great location and reception. Beautiful view of the mountains from the hottub. The room was exactly as expected with a wicked view of tge mountains. However, we did open the futon to find some yellow stains and lots of hairs. So, we just left it folded away. All in all, really enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Pretty good

Great location in town. Needs tumbler glasses in the cupboard. Fridge did not work but they brought 2 mini fridges right away after I reported it. Thank you.

Great place just needs a new couch

This place was pretty great! The proximity to Banff is for sure it’s main appeal. The hot tub was great. Back sliding glass door is great for getting some fresh air. Mini kitchen is also nice. The only issue was the futon. It has definitely seen better days. Either a new futon or a pull out couch would make this place a 5/5!

Run down & Unclean

This property should not be on VRBO. Major issues from unclean room, unclean kitchenette, dirty windows, lightbulbs burnt out, filthy upholstery, rust dripping off of handles going into "in need of repair" hot tub, sauna was full of sand/dirt and pieces of the actual sauna (wood) laying on the floor inside sauna, thick dust so bad we had to have an employee come to assist lighting the fireplace, sheets and phamplets from last guest behind couch, air conditioner still attached to the wall which has major air flow directly onto the bed.... I WOULD LOVE TO SHARE PHOTOS!!!!

An Economical choice.

An economical stay if you're only using it for a night or two. The rooms are dated but everything was functional and clean inside.It is essentially a suite in a motel. Always nice to see free wifi available. The staff were friendly and helpful. The suite we stayed in, had a persistent odor that was hard to mask and made sleeping with it a bit of a challenge. The fan for the HVAC would kick on periodically and was quite noisy also impacting sleep. We came down with an illness just before taking advantage of our booking and the owner was unwilling to allow us to change our booking to a date in the future. We used our booking or we were told we'd lose our pre-paid investment. The reluctance to allow us to rebook in the future has convinced us not to use this particular vrbo rental again. Overall the room was clean and comfortable and would be good for a short stay.

Clean and Quaint

The overall stay here was excellent, the check in and booking process was smooth, the location was slightly out of downtown but close enough to walk wherever we needed. Everything was cleaned and well kept, I would stay here again!

Disappointed

We sought a lodging that would be close to Banff and the staff was polite but we found our room lacking in several ways from what we have come to expect. The room had a loft for sleeping with a wall AC unit that was not effective cooling the room. The only way to cool the downstairs was to leave the windows open, which we were unwilling to do for safety reasons. The upstairs loft window was very small and when opened found the screen caked with dirt. The only TV was downstairs and the only seating was a VERY uncomfortable futon. We found the electric stove was only partially operable. Also surprised that there was not an iron or ironing board in the room but you had to take clothes to the central laundry room to iron. In summary, after long and wonderful days spent in Banff National Park, our ability to return to a comfortable room to relax and sleep was not possible. It winter months, the lack of AC is not an issue but not having any comfortable seating to watch tv or talk to your family was a huge negative.
