The cabin is accessed via a mountain road with three switchbacks — common for cabins with beautiful views.
Most vehicles handle the drive easily, though:
4WD is recommended during winter months when snow or ice may be present.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
First Light Landing is located in the Smoky Mountains, which means you may occasionally see local wildlife such as black bears, raccoons, or deer. Please do not leave food, coolers, or trash outside and never approach wildlife.
The cabin is accessed via a short mountain road with three switchbacks, which is common for properties with beautiful views. Most vehicles handle the drive easily, but AWD or 4WD is recommended during winter months if snow or ice are present.
The hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled between guest stays. Because of this, it may take a few hours to fully reach temperature after check-in.
Propane is provided for the grill and fire pit. If a tank runs empty during your stay, replacements can be exchanged locally at nearby gas stations or stores.
This is a quiet mountain setting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Cell service can vary in the mountains, but the cabin includes high-speed WiFi for reliable connectivity.
